Korean style Chinese food is some of my favorite cuisine and to have a place like Tenmimi within walking distance is such a treat! I love the back stairs entrance that takes you right past the kitchen. The owners are always so cheerful and sweet as they welcome you in. The food is always carefully crafted and the ingredients never disappoint. They must take great care in discriminating against anything less than fresh and ready to please. A+ service, food, cleanliness and overall experience.

This restaurant makes very easy going food. If you're looking for something soaked in fats and sauces you'll be disappointed. However , because it's so easy, it feels great, I don't end up feeling booted or saturated. It's my favorite Chinese food I've had in California.

Had Kung Pao chicken. Got it fast, and it was delicious. Friendly service. First time today. I will go back. Glad to have good, affordable Chinese food so close to home.

There are so many 5star and some 1 star reviews on here and I would like to cover why you should or shouldn’t dine here.As a Chinese person and a foody, I can confidently say that this is by far the best Chinese restaurant this side of San Gabriel.Owner chef is Chinese and a top renowned chef with many top awards in China and Korea.He has taught and mentored many chefs at famous schools.They used to display his awards in the past.In Chinese cuisine, you must quickly and freshly cook with quality fresh ingredients.Tenmimi does exactly that. (During peak times your order may take some time)All dishes are cooked from scratch after you order and you can taste the richness, freshness of the actual food without greasiness. His kitchen is spotless and clean with pride.Although they offer chow mein, chop suey, orange chicken and egg foo young, this is not a Cantonese American restaurant. Even so these dishes are made to perfection!I concur with another reviewer here 200%“Many of the complaints regarding customer service have to do with cultural issues. I visit this spot a lot since I work right next to it. I love how their service is always excellent and they keep the spot well kept consistently. Prices are convenient and they serve sizeable portions.

The reviews don't lie. This place has really good Americanized chinese food. This isn't a bad thing if you are here knowing it's the similar dishes you get at aby chinese restaurants in the area but they stand out because they're fast and fresh. The lady that seats the guests and acts as the waitress/cashier/busboy and so on, was really quick and still nice to all the customers at the rush of lunch time. Nothing really stood out from our 2 dishes but we were satisfied given the portions and quality you get with the lunch specials. Recommended!
