DO NOT!!!! come here if you’re looking for Nice and Cool ambience, good food, good music or even a vibe !!!!! This is NOT the spot for that…. Came here for the first time with my aunt who’s visiting from out of town and this was not the experience that we expected as first time customers. We had to send the food back twice and it was still wrong. These fine people also decided to serve us spoiled pork sausage. We came to this particular location in Glendale for the mimosas for brunch only to get there and they had to renew their liquor license. So no mimosas until further notice… This was not my idea of a vibe or a good time 0/10 and I would NEVER recommend. Mind you, this was our first time here..

The day my wife and I went was incredibly hot, but we chose to sit outside as they were having ac issues. Despite this, the staff was very cheerful, welcoming, and attentive. Our food was prepared quickly and cooked perfectly. We have added the Toasted Bun to our restaurant rotation! Great experience!

I order a bacon omelette hash browns French toast and a cranberry juice can you believe it came up to $43 and I also paid for avocado ($2.95) and I did not receive it , I opened the inside of the omelette and found a strange piece of something , food is extremely bland no seasoning at all , I don’t know but just steer clear of this place they also have a B so they are most likely storing things where they shouldn’t be together I won’t be back ever

Love love a good breakfast and well priced meals. Love the feel of this family owned and operated diner. Good for breakfast, lunch, or dinner! Thank you for a wonderful meal while waiting for my car to get serviced.

The Toasted Bun serves breakfast all day and offers a wide selection of options, from the basic bacon and eggs to eggs Benedict and even a juicy Tomahawk Steak. Service was excellent and the coffee hot and plentiful.

Horrible service, did not allow service animal inside. Hostess ignored us. We left without even looking at menus.

Ordered the biscuits and gravy, and let me tell you what a disappointment they were. Biscuits were dry as hell and the gravy had zero flavor. Biscuits were so bad I only ate one of them (if I wasn’t hungry I probably would have only eaten half of one). The eggs were good and the sausage was ok.
I’m sure they have other menu items that might be good, but the biscuits and gravy is not one of them. Trust me.

Great place. The staff is super friendly. It's a good choice for brunch. Try the Carnitas Benedict.

I ordered their name sake hamburger with curly fries. This is the dish that is pictured on the front of their menu. They specifically asked if an over easy egg was ok and I said that it was. The yolk came out solid. I literally had to cut it into pieces. Furthermore, while having to construct the burger into something that I was able to pick up I found a long dark hair in one of the tomatoes. After picking those off and slicing and arranging the hunk of avocado they plopped on it the burger held up about halfway through eating it before everything started falling out of the bun. The curly fries, which I had to pay extra for despite being pictured with the burger on the front of their menu, were so overdone they almost dissolved when I hit them. Seriously, those Chester's flamin hot fries had a less airy mouth feel. They didn't taste like much of anything so I'm not sure what they're seasoned with or if the seasoning just burned off in the fryer. Maybe their breakfast is better, don't go for lunch. Also, I walked into a restaurant with one table seated and was told to sit anywhere, I sat in the first booth by the door and my arm literally stuck to the table in some gross residue. The only good thing I can say is that the waitress was fairly attentive.

A great local diner in Glendale. There are multiple Toasted Bun locations around LA but I have only been to this Glendale location. It’s a traditional retro-style diner so it’s a great option for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. My favorite diner meal is breakfast so we decided to stop in for our first time this Saturday morning for breakfast and had a great meal. There is medium-sized free parking lot attached next to the restaurant otherwise it will be street parking. Our server was very polite and all of our food items came out extremely fast. It was under 10 minutes after ordering that we got our food. Inside is quite large and divided into a few rows of booth seating.
They have a fairly large menu so it was hard to choose what I wanted to order. I started with a coffee which I recommend because it’s strong and tasty here. For my meal I chose the Chilaquiles Verdes with Carne Asada and thought it was honestly great. The Carne Asada was especially good and seasoned and the portion size was very healthy. We also ordered Eggs and Pancakes and the eggs were terrific as well as the pancakes. The food tastes great and the pricing is fair so I would suggest to anyone searching for a solid breakfast option in Glendale.

Do not try to go to the Toasted Bun on Brand Blvd in Glendale and think you will be seated comfortably. Peter, the Manager, would rather lose you as a customer than try to accommodate. We were there this morning for breakfast, 4 people, including my pregnant daughter.
After they instructed us to choose a table, they told us we could not be seated at a specific booth because it was meant for 5 or 6 people, we had no choice but to leave the place?. Probably for the better, as I noticed on my way out that they had a B health rating.
