This is my go-to regular spot for lunch. There are other places to grab a quick bite nearby, but this quaint little cafe tucked in the corner of an office building is the definition of hospitality. I've never been to a restaurant before where a customer can call the person behind the counter by name, order "the usual", and actually receive it. It's like something out of a sitcom. Luz behind the counter cooks and serves delicious food with the kind of service that makes you feel right at home. Try the beef bowl or the curry rice soup. It won't blow your mind, but it tastes homemade and it's comforting. Prices are reasonable and portions are large.

God forbid you ordere here and need a receipt. By mistake, I forgot to get a receipt before leaving. Afterwards, I called the cafe multiple times to request one but they said that it will not be possible to provide me one... even had the nerve to criticize me for forgetting in the first place.

I appreciate they have popular food items however I have tried repeatedly on my days off to attend and without fail items are sold out . Make more please ! and think about the general public who wants to experience your menu not just those in the office building . Thank you .

I was craving just a simple lunch and decided to go to Urban Cafe since it was across the street from my work. I decided to get the turkey, bacon, and Swiss on sourdough and a bag of chips. The service was lovely, the two ladies behind the counter were friendly and sweet to all the customers coming in. They certainly salvaged what I was missing from the meal. On that note, the sandwich was good, exactly what I expected and a filling portion. My only complaint was that the sandwich and chips came out to around $15, which seemed a bit ridiculous for what it was. I honestly would've given 3 stars if it wasn't for the service and convenience of location. I likely won't be back unless I'm in a desperate rush and can't walk down the street for something better. But kudos regardless!

This place is great. May look nondescript , but the lady behind the counter making home made chicken noodle soup is wonderful as is her soup Nice lady to talk to. I asked for some salsa and she shared her salsa that she brought from home for her lunch. That's about as good of customer service as you can get.

I come here at least once a week if not more. I've never had a problem with their food or service, everything is great. I love their Tuna sandwich, it's always fresh. During cold weather I always get their Roman soup, it's sooo delicious. I call ahead, and my food is always ready. I definitely recommend this place.

I love soup. It's one of the best lunch foods ever, its cheap and full of flavor. It's also the most stupidly marked up food items ever so its hsrd to find it at restaurants for a good value. Enter Urban Cafe III with an incredible $4.50 cup of Chiken Curry soup the size of my entire fist. Its essentially a lunch stand in the lobby of a building. Its not the most appealing place in the world to get lunch but its the best soup flavor to value ive had in this city thus far.

I ordered a Chinese chIcken salad and it was the worst salad I ever had. Boiled chicken a lot of lettuce and two pieces of carrots and the salad dressing is nothing like a Chinese chicken salad dressing. I only give 3 stars because of the friendly stuff. If it wasn't for the friendly stuff I would defiantly return the salad.

I found a great Ramen soup place inside Glendale galleria mall, also there tuna salad is awesome too. Its a great place to bring kid with you very friendly and clean. My daughter love there ramen too!!
