I was visiting Glendale and it is known for great Armenian food which I love! I had the lamb chops which was really good bc it was so tender and grilled perfectly. It came with a salad, hummus appetizer and pita bread to start. On the actual lamb chop dish, it had grilled aroma tomato and a big green chile! It also was served over a bed of rice pilaf with what looked like small strands of vermicelli noodles mixed in. It was all good!
Here from Northern California. Found Varouj's! Ordered Hommous, Armenian Salad, Chicken Kabob and Louleh Kabob. Everything was yummy!! Miss Rose was a wonderful Hostess. Thank you for a great meal.�
Love the lamb chops and luleh kabob. Hummus is very authentic. Also, this is the only place I eat raw meat (like steak tartar) it's called chi-Kufteh, it's meat with bulgur wheat and it's DELICIOUS! Gotta get some pictures next time, when the food comes I forget :-)
