I'm persian, and this Kabob place is official. The meat melts in your mouth. The salads are amazing (tabouleh and shirazi are mouth watering good). The service is amazing. I love this family owned mom&pop stores that make you feel so welcome. Owner was explaining that all the meat and salad, everything, is made fresh as they go. Not even at the beginning of the day, it's made throughout the day as orders come in. Very clean too. They have high chairs too. Kid friendly. Def recommend.
One of my favorite places to eat in Glendale! First of all the kebab is authentic , high quality, and fresh. Their lentil soup , which is a family recipe , is off the charts. Warm, comforting and delicious. On top of all that the service is friendly and attentive. It’s a family restaurant and you really feel like you’re eating in their home . Their takeout is great too if you want something filling and tasty but don’t want to break the bank- their meals are bug enough for 2 people - all good things to say about this place . 5 outta 5 stars!

It's a mother & son restaurant or at least from what I can tell. The service is amazing, so kind and welcoming. The food is excellent, really juicy and tender. The veggies and pita are great and just add to a great plate of food. Will be coming back for sure. It's a must to go! 😁

I’ve been a returning customer randomly throughout the past 2/3years & each time I come I wonder why I don’t choose to more often! it’s no exaggeration to say WhyNotKabob will never disappoint, the consistency & taste from the food is perfect alone, but wait til you get a chance to experience their service & atmosphere, as well. the greatest part about coming here is how personable it is; you can clearly tell they cherish their customers, if you’re looking for a meal made with love, there’s soo many to pick from here, and they all taste so fresh and yummy 🫶🏼 I used to get different plates, but have found the chicken luleh sandwich, with potato wedges + extra rice, and either a cucumber yogurt or shirazi salad on the side is just perfect for me. also plenty drinks in their fridge to choose from. + such a clean, comfortable space. if you’re local & considering trying pleaseee show them some love they deserve it all & give it back tenfold !!

This is an absolutely wonderful restaurant. It is family run and the family is super friendly and can accommodate persons with diet restrictions such as gluten free, vegan, etc. The meals are very much homemade, generous portions and just taste wonderful.

Why Not Kabob in Glendale CA is literally my new favorite Kabab place in Southern CA and the Los Angeles area. The Kabab meat is so fresh. My favorite is the steak. The owner is fantastic! Great experience thank you!

Impressed by the owner's enthusiastic and friendly demeanor as soon as we walked in. This seems like a local spot for many, but my friend and I felt immediately welcomed.
We got our food quickly and the portions were bigger than most places have nowadays for the same price. Big fan of the rice alone, and it paired well with the tender beef kabob and well-dressed salad. There were several vegetarian options as well.
Owner checked in with us to make sure we were satisfied, and asked us if we needed anything else or if we had feedback, which was cool.
Parking: There is parking in front of the restaurant.
