The food was just okay. The restaurant was not clean at all so I recommend getting take out. I guess we came at a busy time since it took quite a bit of time to get our food. But staff was friendly enough!

Still the best in the west! I moved out of LA some years ago but I still crave Zankou a lot. Every time I’m back in town to visit friends or family, I always make a trip (or two) to Zankou. Don’t sleep on the Chicken Tarna!
TIP: If you are going in to pick up you are okay but NEVER order online though their website.
I ordered from the Zankou website and a DoorDash driver brought me the food. Turns out the order was wrong. I called the driver he could not speak (or read) English). Doordash told me to call Zankpour. Manager says not my problem sorry call Doordash So I am stuck with food I cant eat and they all have my money -
I love this food but I hate their service - and Glendale is THE worst so far.

Zanku, a hidden gem that serves mouth-watering Lebanese and Armenian cuisine. From the get-go, I was captivated by the classic garlic sauce that comes with many of their dishes – it's absolutely addictive! The long wait times at here are just part of the experience, especially when ordering their popular kabobs or Lule. It’s a testament to the quality of the food that so many people are willing to wait, and trust me, it’s worth it! While waiting for my meal, I glanced at the menu and realized I had forgotten to order the pickled red beets, which usually come with the meal—unless they’re only served with the chicken? As usual, I wished they offered more rice; it's simply never enough! This particular location has a simplicity to its décor. Unlike its sleeker sister location in Burbank, the ambiance is decidedly no-frills. But as the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover – the real magic happens on the plates.

Been coming to this chain ever since I was a kid, recently came back as an adult and OMG it’s still as delicious as ever! The sides were amazing and the chicken was very juicy, we feed 3 people for like 2 days for about $30.

My first time having this and omg, it was amazing. The girl who helped me was SO lovely & kind I appreciated her service so much. The Shwaerma wrap was everything I needed 😩 so fresh. So tasty. & she even read my mind and gave me extra sauce which was so much appreciated. Wish I would have gotten the falafel too, but at least there’s always next time!! Thank you!!
Vegetarian options: Haven’t had it but I know the falafel slaps.

Zankou Chicken is great for a quick bite of chicken tarna or tri-tip beef shawarma. I absolutely love their garlic paste. Service has gotten friendlier and faster too.
