The food was just okay. The restaurant was not clean at all so I recommend getting take out. I guess we came at a busy time since it took quite a bit of time to get our food. But staff was friendly enough!
Still the best in the west! I moved out of LA some years ago but I still crave Zankou a lot. Every time I’m back in town to visit friends or family, I always make a trip (or two) to Zankou. Don’t sleep on the Chicken Tarna!
Zanku, a hidden gem that serves mouth-watering Lebanese and Armenian cuisine. From the get-go, I was captivated by the classic garlic sauce that comes with many of their dishes – it's absolutely addictive!
The long wait times at here are just part of the experience, especially when ordering their popular kabobs or Lule. It’s a testament to the quality of the food that so many people are willing to wait, and trust me, it’s worth it!
