Casual walk in place, counter order. Service was ok. We got the classic zhengyalov hatz wrap, and split it. Having never had it, wasn't sure what to expect. It's very veggie, herbal-y. Pretty much just bread and vegs. It was done well, but maybe not to my taste. The flatbread part was very good though.
I enjoyed the overall atmosphere and service at ZHENGYALOV HATZ, I was amazed with the food. The Zhengyalov Hatz was a very good cooked. I would love to visit again and experience a truly exceptional meal again.
Wow! I've never eaten much Armenian food, but I figured heck, why not? Was not disappointed! I got their namesake, and LOVE IT! All those herbs chopped up and wrapped up? On top of that, the mint and thyme tea? Yeah... I was sort of suffering some weird thing where I kept having to clear my throat. Tons of "ahems" and other old people noises ??. But just a bite of that Zhengyalov Hatz, and honestly I was healed! Some of the best food, and quite healthy!...
