NEVER AGAIN!!!
We had been loyal customers for several years, even through COVID. But since the ownership changed a few years ago, the quality of the food has been inconsistent and the service spotty, depending on the server. Tonight we, a party of 6, arrived at 4:20 pm before the dinner rush. Noah greeted us at our table and took our drink orders, then brought our drinks and took our food order. That was the last we saw of Noah, or any server, at our table for at least 45 minutes, never receiving our food or any drink refills.
In the meantime, other guests were arriving, ordering and receiving their food. We finally got Noah's attention and asked him when our food was coming. He said they were really busy, part of the order was ready and he wasn't sure when the rest would be ready. We asked to speak to the manager or owner and he stated that he was the acting manager. We asked him how he would feel if we left the restaurant. He replied that he wouldn't like it but he couldn't do anything to stop us, then he walked away again to service other tables. We waited a few more minutes then got up and left the restaurant and had a wonderful meal down the street.
Wouldn't a good manager be apologetic and go to the kitchen and push things along? This is not the first time we were disappointed with the service and decided to give them another try, but no more. The only reason I gave one star is because zero is not an option.

This USE TO BE a favorite of mine to go to but after today l was deeply disappointed.
I purchased a Rib Eye Steak medium rare and they brought it out and it was medium well. It was as good as a steak at Dennys and not very savory or tasty. The mash potatoes were barely warm and the tiny piece of bread was stale. The wedge salad was ok. They offered to take it back and make another one but l was so hungry and they took Forever in making it with hardly any customers there l declined so they gave me a measly 10% discount off my order.
My mom's ribs were Tough and dry. Baked beans were good but the mashed potatoes were also barely warm and a piece of stale bread.
My friend's Kale salad which was 13.00 looked like something out of a bag.
The only things going for this place was our nice server and the music.
I will NEVER go back again sad to say.

To me, the food is just below mediocre, and I've come here a few times so it wasn't unusual. The prices suck, too, especially for less-than-mediocre food. The location is nice, but that's it for me. Honestly, I wish it was another restaurant.

I know my user name is a bit ridiculous, but this is my first time around Glendora and many people recommended this restaurant called Frisella’s. I was immediately meet by kind servers and helpers. The impression of the furniture really reminded me of the old timey type days. I sat down and I can definitely tell that the owner put a lot of effort into the menus, but anyway I ordered an Olympic burger and fries and WOW did they impress. The burger was massive and definitely tasty and the fries were crispy and salted well. The servers there were exponentially nice. This is definitely a restaurant that local tourists should try. Will definitely come back!

I applied for a position in the back of the house as a prep cook / line cook and was told that I would be given close to full time hours.
Mind you, this is after I explained to her that I’m trying to work to save for a car, go back to school, pay rent etc. ..
The hiring process, or lack thereof, (considering I’m jobless from no fault of my own) was unprofessional and felt improvised.
She asked for my availability, I provided it for her, she asked me for my food handlers certification, I sent it; I was told at the end of the week (after working a couple days) that I’d receive a schedule for the following week.
This all happened around Memorial Day.
Instead of a schedule I got what I would presume to be some type of severance check that she said was for my “training”.
When I enquired as to when I’d get my schedule or why she didn’t send it to me when she said she would, her reply was something to the effect that “My kids just got out of school and so I won’t be available to train you how I want to”.
This process has been emotionally exhausting and draining, being gaslighted / lied to by an employer about training, hours, and scheduling is wild to me.
A large part of me does wonder if it has to do with me being black, considering Glendoras demographic and the fact that I wasn’t given any explanation as to why I couldn’t come back to work, essentially ignored, and written off.
I don’t expect anything to come as a result from me sharing this, but I did want share my story so that both the customers and those potentially seeking employment at this establishment can know / see the type of business Owner they’re spending their time & money with.

The food is fantastic, the staff is friendly, welcoming and efficient. What's not to love?
We have been going to Friselas for over 15 years. Excellent food and service.
It has been our traditional location to get meals to take home for Holidays and special occasions. I went in today to order our Mother's Day dinner and was caught by surprise by the menu change. Unfortunately, their prices have doubled. And the meal options have diminished considerably. I just stared at the menu for quite some time. Made the difficult decision to not make a purchase. I asked the staff when the changes were made. Was told within the last two months. I am writing this in May, 2024.
As I was leaving I also noticed that it was not at all busy. Very unusual for a Friday afternoon at lunch.
I truly hope that this establishment remains successful. Great food and wonderful staff.
But with this significant price increase I do have concerns. To a certain point I get it. The cost of everything has increased. But to double the cost and limit the selections ? Seems a bit extreme.
But I am not crunching the numbers.
While they are now out of our price range for Family meals I am Truly pulling for them to be successful going forward.
Class operation!

Frisella’s Roastery is a nice casual place, service is excellent, prices ok. Food, not so good. We had a combo plate of ribs, chicken and tri trip with a salad. The food was not very warm and the tri trip was dried. I only enjoyed the salad, the salad was very good..

Located in "The Village" of downtown Glendora. Calm atmosphere, outdoor dining, not a whole lot of auto traffic, kid friendly.....Now the food. House made potato chips, yes please! Pulled bbq pork on atrisan bread....excellent. Choice of salads as well, mixed greens, ceasar etc. Beer? Yes'um. Several small craft choices and yeah...the usual light stuff too.
