Meet friends for lunch today after tour of Rubel Castle in Glendora. Ordered tri tip sandwich with side salad. Everything was delicious. The tri tip was cooked perfect and very tender, The bbq sauce is smoky & sweet, yum 😋 asked for extra for left overs. Subbed salad for chips and a side, crispy and fresh lettuce, croutons tomatoes and carrots very good. Others ordered and enjoyed fish and chips lunch special, soup salad combo, bbq sliders. Everything was delicious. Highly recommend. Service was very good, there were 2 servers when we arrived, at check time just 1, slowed things down. Separate checks make our lives easier, thank you!
Oh my gosh! This restaurant had some of the best barbecue I’ve had in a very long time. I’m not usually a barbecue fan, but my family loves it so we decided to go there for dinner on a Sunday. I got the tri-tip salad. I have never had tri-tip that flavorful and tender ever! So I highly recommend this place. Everything we ordered did not disappoint.
A family member gave us a gift card to use . After the meal was finished, they told us it was no longer valid, they switch systems and no longer take this card.
NOTE: this is the second time in the last few years this happened. Not only is this terrible business, I also believe it is illegal.
Either way, lost customers and friends forever, even though the food is good.
We enjoyed a wonderful outdoor evening dinner. Ambiance was lovely and the service was great! Our group had the brisket dinner and fish and chips. The brisket was perfectly cooked and the BBQ sauce was the absolute star of the dinner - perfect blend of sweet and tangy. The side dishes we had were the mashed potatoes with gravy, Mac-n-cheese, and green beans. The green beans were wonderful but the potatoes and Mac-n-cheese were under-seasoned wish was solved by adding our own salt and pepper. Both the gravy for the mashed potatoes and the sauce for the fish-n-chips were too thin for our liking but the overall dinner was great. We would definitely return for the brisket and sauce - it was truly delightful.
Lovely happy hour~ fantastic food and excellent service!
Tasteless Tritips, over priced meat.
This Barbecue restauran is located in the historical old town of Glendora. The building itself is very unique with the red bricks and old wood floor. It is spacious inside with the view of the street through the open glass window. However, the Barbecue meats they serve were quite disappointing. For example, the Tritip beef was totally tasteless. Plus, they only gave me three small pieces of beef for a 37 dollars dish. Even though the ambience was good , but the meats were rather tasteless and over priced. I certainly will not come back to this restaurant again.
Good food
Every time I have been here has been a positive experience, however the other day my girlfriend and I were there and both got very sick after eating there. This is the first time it's happened. I am only leaving this review to let the staff know there may have been expired or cross contaminated food served to us.
Enjoyed the Smoked Angus Tri Tip Salad with blue cheese dressing. Experienced excellent customer service. Very quaint and quiet dining experienced. Will definitely return again as it was our first time.
My associate and I went here for lunch and had Josh as our server. The place was just opening, clean and organized. Josh did a great job servicing our table as we weren't in a hurry. We ordered a lot of food and almost ate it all. The food was prepared with care and was very large portions which were appreciated. When finished Josh wished us a great day and we took off fulfilled and happy. Thank you for having us, we will be back.

Everything from the service to the coffee and scones was amazing.
NEVER AGAIN!!!
We had been loyal customers for several years, even through COVID. But since the ownership changed a few years ago, the quality of the food has been inconsistent and the service spotty, depending on the server. Tonight we, a party of 6, arrived at 4:20 pm before the dinner rush. Noah greeted us at our table and took our drink orders, then brought our drinks and took our food order. That was the last we saw of Noah, or any server, at our table for at least 45 minutes, never receiving our food or any drink refills.
In the meantime, other guests were arriving, ordering and receiving their food. We finally got Noah's attention and asked him when our food was coming. He said they were really busy, part of the order was ready and he wasn't sure when the rest would be ready. We asked to speak to the manager or owner and he stated that he was the acting manager. We asked him how he would feel if we left the restaurant. He replied that he wouldn't like it but he couldn't do anything to stop us, then he walked away again to service other tables. We waited a few more minutes then got up and left the restaurant and had a wonderful meal down the street.
Wouldn't a good manager be apologetic and go to the kitchen and push things along? This is not the first time we were disappointed with the service and decided to give them another try, but no more. The only reason I gave one star is because zero is not an option.
