Furn Saj Restaurant & Bakery

It had been a while since I had Furn Saj. Called and placed my order. Food is delicious as usual but was shocked by the $50+ tab for 2 chicken shawarma sandwiches, a small hummus and a small fries. I love their food but it’s a bad value now. Hate to say they’re off my go-to list.

I eat Greek salads quite often and I will say this is the best one I have ever had. Lots of chicken shawarma, fresh veggies, delicious dressing. Service was friendly and fast, food was tremendous. Will be back for other dishes.

Went for dinner, even though was almost closing everything was fresh and warm. Lots of vegan and vegetarian options. As with other reviews, it’s a lot of food. I got 2 lunches from left overs. We tried the Saj zataar (good but a little acidic, better with some yogurt). Sardoukh cheese, delicious. The hummus and falafel were excellent, hummus very smooth and the falafel in donut shap instead of balls were less dry. We had the vegan kebeeh and vegan cheese sambousek, both good

Has fantastic food but the prices have doubled in the past year, making it not so worth it anymore.

I came here for the first time on my lunch break. The hostess/cashier was very friendly and informed me about what the items were ans contained. I received my food promptly and it was hot, fresh, and tasted delicious. The photo of the plate can be deceiving. The portions were huge! I have a high appetite and even I struggled to finish the meal. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone. They have indoor and outdoor seating available. Great service and good food!

Parking: Plenty of parking in the shopping center.

Delicious! Love this place. The food is fresh and the portions are generous.

I live close by and have been wanting to try this restaurant for a while. The service was excellent. They normally don’t sauté onions as a side however they did so at my request. The portion size is very generous. The chicken was a little bit dry, but still good. I really like their garlic sauce. The people who work here are very nice and friendly. I will definitely be back.

Furn Saj Bakery in San Diego is a must-visit! Their manakisch are incredibly delicious and amazing portions . The bakery is clean, and the staff is wonderful. Highly recommended!

Worst customer service!! The food is not that good and bad quality!

Ordered something simple just a chicken wrap and a zaatar manaesh. It took 40 minutes. Honestly too long to wait especially considering I was on a road trip. Food is good, but cooking time is much too long.

Really, really like this place. They have great service and very friendly atmosphere. Lots of clearly marked vegan options. I tried the Vegan Chicken wrap which is quite different -- besides the vegan chicken, they put french fries, ketchup, pickles and garlic. It sounded strange but it was tasty. Although, if I ordered it again, I might ask them to customize it to make it a bit healthier.

I eat Mediterranean food everyday and everywhere and this restaurant is $7-$8 more expensive than most similar places I visit. Didn’t even try the food. Prices scared me. ? Hopefully the food is delicious.

Wow the meat is super tender and flavorful the hummus very creamy loved the giant pita the tabouli very fresh staff friendly store very clean will definitely come back
