Great food, the owner was awesome the first time around. But the second time around we got there and we're standing for ten minutes before getting seated. That day the servers looked young and they were chatting with each other instead of helping customers. It almost felt like the owner hired family and wasnt there that day. We ended up leaving, disappointed, and really liked the food but the wife refuses to go back. Hopefully I can change her mind, And support the down to earth owner.

Good ambience, friendly service, good drinks. They put a lot of effort into the decor. Food portions are relatively small and could be larger. Overall, decent place for a drink and some appetizers. I would give them a five star if they increased their portion sizes.

I went on Taco Tuesday, and the tacos were expensive. I asked for chicken tacos with only cilantro, and they brought chicken taco that were cooked with onions, bell peppers, and I think tomato. The waitress never told me that they had all those other things. If a person says chicken with only cilantro, they should let the customer know that the taco comes with all the other items.
By the time I took everything off, I barely had a taco that cost more than a bag of tortillas. When they sell street tacos, they should sell them as street tacos, cost, and flavor. Anywhere else I go, they would have said their chicken comes filled with other things. At the end of the day, our Taco Tuesday costs too much. Also, they had no salt at the table. The guacamole needed salt. Not one table had a salt shaker. No one ever came by to ask if we needed anything.
The only good thing about that place was the artistic style they had.

Restaurantji Recommends
we got the chilachiles, sopes, menudo, queso fundido, platter. The menudo is made with some meat not like other places where it's just skins. The chilachiles where delicious a little kick but not enough to ruin the savory flavor. The sopes where fresh and made from scratch a delight to say the least. The queso fundido a melted cheese with sausage served with tortillas flour and corn a explosion waiting to bite. The platter was a mix of tacos bites, quesadilla bites and chips with beans salsa and guacamole make the perfect appetizer for you if you wanna try a little of everything and see how delicious every item on it is so you can make your decision on what you wanna eat. Best mexican food I've had in a while as I rate a lot of restaurants.

Incredible food and decor, with attentive staff. Fridays have live music. The happy hour has amazing deals and the in-house bar pours mean margaritas. The prices of some items are a little high, but the quality justifies most of the costs.
And the salsa is so good.

18$ and this is all the meat you give it’s shameful to charge that much
The food also was very cold and the meat tastes sour I can see why they tried to give so little of it
