Red Lantern is a gem in Glendora! Solid Cantonese/Chinese food here. We celebrated a birthday here and loved their:• fish fillet in black bean sauce• sautéed string beans• tofu veggies• salt & pepper pork chopWas not a huge fan of the orange chicken so won’t get it again next time, but otherwise the food here is solid.The service is also great and everyone is friendly here. It’s a nice neighborhood spot for Chinese food for sure.

This place is a hit or miss when it comes to its food. There are times the cooks hit it out of the park and the food is very flavorful and good. But, then there are times you can order the same dish and it has zero taste. I am not sure how this happens.The last time I ordered I tried to eat the chicken and broccoli but it had ZERO flavor and I just could not eat it. Yet the time before that I had that dish it was really good.I am hesitant to order from here because I never know if it will be good or taste like nothing.

I've been coming here for years and this was super frustrating. I order online. They won't allow you to customize anything online. They tell you you have to call. so I call and I call and I call. I called six times no answer. I get there and they tell me. They won't do anything to change the order. But how do you answer the phone my order would have been correct. Now I have food that I don't want because I don't eat it this way. And they don't care. Super terrible service

Wow, every time we have eaten at Red Lantern, the food has been great, hot, and reasonable. However tonight we had it delivered and what a disappointment :(Our order was more than 15 minutes late. And we ordered more than a hour a head of time! When I called to check on our order, the number went to voicemail and indicated that "messages were not being taken?! "The "fried" rice was literally white?! It had no flavor and it was dry as a bone. All of the food was luke warm and was clearly made with no care or love. VERY DISAPPOINTING!!!! Come on Red Lantern! You can do much better. I would greatly appreciate a discount y of some sort so I have incentive to try again. It will take a while though to trust this choice again :(

I ordered through Yelp for takeout and my husband picked it up without any issues. Food came out on time and they gave good portions.I really enjoyed the fried rice and chow mein, they were not stingy at all with the meat and it had good flavor! I thought the orange chicken was just okay and will probably try a different style of chicken for next time.
I have only gotten food from here via delivery but it hits every time. Today I ordered their veggie chow fun, veggie rolls, and crab rangoons. Everything was delicious and piping hot when it arrived; I would definitely order these items again. In the past I've gotten their chow mein and salt and pepper shrimp which I would also recommend.

Please note: There seems to be a new owner. I saw some talk on Nextdoor warning of that and that the place has gone down hill in very recent history. Same menu, but the quality of has dropped drastically. I tried for myself and I have to say it was a big disappointment. I can't recommend any longer. So sad.

Red Lantern Chinese, tucked away in a somewhat empty parking lot on Grand Ave near the freeway, surprised me with their fantastic lunch special. For a great price, you get a complete meal, including rice, egg rolls, and soup (if you dine in).The Kung Pao Chicken and Beef with Broccoli dishes are standout options and seem to be crowd favorites, and it's easy to see why. The flavors are delicious and satisfying.Overall, Red Lantern Chinese offers a good meal and excellent value. If you're in the area and looking for a tasty lunch without breaking the bank, this place is a must-try!

We ordered Orange Chicken and Sweet and Sour pork. This is the first time coming here. We ordered take out otherwise we would have returned it. We won't be back. Food wasn't good at all. The rice tasted like Uncle Ben's converted rice. Both our dishes we only ate a little. Had to eat something else from the refrigerator. Threw out the rest. What a waste!Hopefully you have a better experience
