My first experience at Golden Eatery was a spicy delight. I tried the OG Nashville and I'm glad I went with the medium spicy. I'm no stranger to spicy foods, but I generally like to taste what I'm eating, and the burn has a tendency to block out many subtle flavors. And boy were there some flavors! It made a glorious mess, coleslaw and sauce all over my hands and tray. The fries were hot, fresh, crispy and delicious. I'm coming back to try their other offerings.

Terrible service... if they had spent half as much effort just fixing my order to what I had actually ordered and paid for as they spent trying to convince me that I had ordered my burger dry (which would have been the first time in my life that I had EVER ordered a burger that way... sounds awful, not sure why I would ever do that) everything would have been fine.The food was good, but not so good that I'll ever eat here again.

Me and my coworkers came here for lunch and had variety of food varying from smash burger + tator tots, the Nashville chicken sandwich, and the Portuguese fried rice. here are the short review that i hope helps others - subjective of course.
smash burger + tator tots - flavorful but the tots are just tots
the Nashville chicken sandwich - i appreciate the seasoning on the outside and also on the burger but the chicken itself is bland and nonseasoned - the breading is, but the chicken is really dry - i felt like i was eating chicken breast, def not the best rep of chicken sandwich in my opinion
the coleslaw -flavorless and slightly sour, under seasoned just lettuce diced and tossed with mayo seems like. wouldnt get it again and i love a good coleslaw.
and the Portuguese fried rice - the rice was clumped together when it was ordered, not too impressed, but i guess that's what happens when you order fried rice at a sandwich/burger place.
would i come back? maybe but wouldn't be my idea, would be to tag with coworker.
Had the Nashville chicken fries post-hike. My dad and I split this but still had leftovers. Opted for medium spicy but that was a good call, as the fries came piping hot. Plenty of searing is available inside. They don’t serve water but bottled water is available for purchase. Locked bathrooms with keyed entries are available. Free parking lot.

Come try this place. I think you'll find something on the menu you will enjoy. I ordered the Hot OG Chicken Sandwich. You can choose the hotness. I chose hot habanero. It is served on a big brioche bun with fried mozzarella and coleslaw. I removed the pickles. The fried chicken breast is large and has lots of flavor. I cannot figure out if they bread the chicken here before frying it. The habanero was hot but it didn't last long. I might come back to bring a friend soon.

Smash burger and chicken sandwich are amazing!! So much flavor in the burger and the chicken was crispy. Medium heat is actually kinda spicy which is a good thing. A lot of places have very tame heat levels. The ranch is surprisingly super good. Tastes homemade! Kind staff and clean stations all around.

Oscar (the owner of Golden Eatery) is such a friendly guy! I’ve tried most items on the menu now and I have to say that everything I’ve tried has been so tasty. The pizza is Detroit style; they make the pizza so deliciously well with a mix of cheeses and perfect dough for Detroit style. I’m impressed by the fried rice with pineapple sausage and the pastas on menu. It seems like Oscar and the crew can do it all. Thank you for helping make the Glendora Public Market a diverse and welcoming place.

Honestly, I should've made smash burgers at home. My wife was surprised at how unappetizing it looked. Let alone the grilled cheese tasting like... well.. it didn't taste like anything? Wierd, right?My son didn't want to eat it and left it there. Anyway, I'll just eat at the other locations from now on.

I like spicy food so I order the OG tenders with golden heat and it didn’t disappoint. It was definitely spicy, but had a really good flavor. The chicken was juicy, the shaken fries were bomb, and I loved the comeback sauce. Will be going back soon.
