We have been to the Village Eatery multiple times and they do not disappoint. Their food is made with fresh ingredients and quality you can taste. The service staff is very nice and attentive. It is a must on everyone's list of breakfast places
Great place to eat! It has a great atmosphere and the food is amazing. The breakfast potatoes are the best I have ever had. Not oily or greasy and cooked perfectly, I am pretty sure they get their eggs straight from the farm every morning.
Came here for lunch with a girlfriend the space is big and there is a lot of room but it still has a cozy feeling to it we ordered the house iced tea Cobb salad and a king salad with chicken the sizes of the salads were plenty for 2 the Cobb salad was absolutely delicious we asked for the dressing to be tossed in The bacon was crispy the eggs were fresh and the chicken was seasoned perfectly with the kin WA salad the chicken hot the most amazing seasoning to it Everything was cooked really well we also ordered chocolate chip muffins they were baked to perfection can't wait to come back and try dinner
Everything was fresh and delicious, their pickle beer was very interesting

In the kitchen, the boss had a "treat,"
But he thought he was safe from a greet.
When the waiter walked in,
With a wild, knowing grin,
Now the gossip is rich and complete!
The boss in the restaurant, bold,
Thought his secrets were safe to uphold.
But when someone came through,
He turned red, lost his view,
Now they jest about tales that aren’t told!
There once was a boss full of glee,
In the lavatory, feeling quite free.
But the chef walked right in,
Caught him in a spin,
Now they whisper, “What *else* could it be?”
The boss had a “break” in the loo,
With his thoughts and his fantasies, too.
Then a waiter came in,
To a sight that was grim,
Now the kitchen’s all buzzing with “who knew?”
In the office, the boss took a chance,
With his “me time” a curious dance.
But when he got caught,
With hot tension distraught,
Now they tease him with laughter and prance!
The boss thought his secrets were sly,
Till the door swung wide, and oh my!
With a gasp and a stammer,
He fought a bright glamour,
Now his tales are the talk of the fry!
In the lavatory, loud cries arose,
As the boss sat, he felt quite exposed.
With a slam of the door,
Came an employee’s roar,
“Didn’t think you’d be doing *that* pose!
What did the employee say when he walked in on his boss beating his meat?
“I didn’t realize we had a ‘hands-on management’ training session today!”
How did the boss react when he got caught in a compromising position?
“Well, that’s one way to keep ‘employee morale’ high!”
Why did the boss turn red when caught in the act?
“I thought this was a 'hands-on' approach to team building!”
What did the employee do after walking in on the boss?
“I quickly learned to knock twice and say, ‘I’m here for the meat meeting!’”
5. Why did the boss insist on using that room for “private meetings”?
“Who knew it would lead to a ‘beef’ between employees!”
6. How did the employee feel after accidentally catching his boss?
“Let’s just say, that’s one meeting I wish I could ‘unsee’!”
7. What did the boss say to the employee after getting caught?
“You're not supposed to ‘tender’ details like that!”
8. Why did HR get involved after the incident?
“Someone learned the hard way that there are better ways to ‘work out’ stress!”
9. What’s worse than walking in on your boss?
Walking in on your boss and discovering he was just trying to prep for ‘steak night’!
10. What did the employee say when he walked in on his boss?
“I think you misunderstood the phrase ‘the meat of the matter’!”

The Village Eatery is nice bistro nestled in the heart of Glendora, California. It is a neighborhood favorite, and offers a casual, friendly dining atmosphere that you will enjoy. It’s indoor and outdoor seats were spacious and cozy. Their menu has a robust selection of food and drinks. We came to grab brunch after our hike at a nearby trail. I had coffee, water and orange juice; pancake and greek omelette x wheat roasts x potatoes. Drinks were deliciously refreshing; food was modest in taste and flavor. Service was slow to decent but can definitely be improved. Plenty of street parking. Prices were economically fair.
Overall, their breakfast was banal but drinks were great.

Restaurantji Recommends
Excellent tuna salad 1/2 sandwich with fresh herbs and bread/cheese/garnish options, pesto pasta salad, and black coffee.
Great service and comfortable atmosphere.
I’d be surprised if this restaurant isn't always packed for breakfast and lunch!

I booked a business meeting there for a party of 10 and they attended everyone with A class service! Especially Evelyn. I recommend the chicken fried steak with eggs! There is something different about the food there I can’t explain. Definitely coming back again!

Went in for breakfast and had an amazing server. Leanna was so pleasant and no one should be that happy in the morning ? but she is. She engaged the kids and is such a sweet person. Service was great, food was great. If your looking for great service ask for Leanna!
