“It's been so difficult, post-pandemic, to find good, quality, delicious food places. This place gives me hope. Hands down some of the BEST food I've had at a kabob restaurant. No exaggeration. It's clear they use quality ingredients, and know how to cook. I legit had an emotional moment with my chicken kabob plate lol. The gyros are super yummy too. Definitely coming back, and definitely recommending them to anyone looking for a good gyro or kabob!“

“First time coming to the restaurant, the people who work here were very nice. The food was gone in minutes of me bringing it home. I would definitely recommend this place and will return when in the area or passing Greenback/Elkhorn exit on 80 since it is conveniently located a few minutes off the highway exit.“

“The new name of the restaurant under new ownership is Lyallpur, and all the meat is a healthy halal style.
the dining area is spacious and clean.
the workers and exceptionally nice and know how to take care of their customers.
the food, chicken shwarma was very good with their house sauce. they don't hold back on their fries like many other places are beginning to do.
they have Indo Pak fusion with Mediterranean.
they have a bathroom for guests and their prices are reasonable as well.
PS: they have a small Indo Pak desert selection as well.

“I tried Nick the Greek and ordered the lamb and beef gyro combo. The food was decent overall, but the tzatziki sauce just didn’t hit the mark for me. I’ve had tzatziki from all over, and this one missed the freshness and flavor I expected. If you’re ordering, you might want to skip the tzatziki unless they change up the recipe—it could use a refresh or maybe a quick quality check. Aside from that, the fries were solid, and I’d give it a 4/5, hoping for an upgrade on that tzatziki next time.“

All food is very healthy
One critique is to keep prices the same however could you provide an option to pay for example hummus and maybe garlic sauce option for your combos. Maybe $1.99 extra more for combo meals.

“Even 5 stars don’t do justice to the quality and taste of food here. For the price you pay, the amount of food you get is phenomenal, you can really taste the freshness and the love that goes into making a plate and doing that consistently is amazing. Really recommend if you’re in the area to stop by and grab yourself a mix plate with banana peppers and a little bit of spice.“

“Really, really incredible place. I’m a vegetarian and sometimes it’s hard to eat out and get really great vegetarian food. Here you get huge portions of really great food for a good price. My dad had the gyros, which he described as tender and flavorful. The falafels are so fresh and the texture is perfect. We were so eager to eat I didn’t take a photo of the beautiful plate before we dove in, but here’s an idea of the portion size (imagine a lot more falafels). So good i’ve eaten here twice in the past three days.“

“Food is seriously good. Flavorful rice, crispy flavorful falafel. Fluffy pita bread. Good hummus and tkatziki. Person working there is cool. Good selection of canned and fountain sodas.
They have great specials on rice bowls, they're buy 1 get 1, that ends up being a super cheap meal for 2.“

“This is the best restaurant in Gold River and one of the best in Sacramento, hands down. True hidden gem. My family has been going for years and we look forward to many lunches and dinners to come. Food is amazingly prepared and always fresh, great portions and quality- each plate could be $10 more expensive and I’d still happily pay. Don’t tell the owner. We love the atmosphere, great indoor and outdoor dining and always amazing service. If you don’t know about Z California Cuisine I feel bad for you! Only place I recommend anyone to try with full confidence they’ll have a great experience.“
