I absolutely loved this restaurant! The service was exceptional, and the food was outstanding. Everything was perfectly seasoned, and the portions were generous—no complaints there. We especially loved the short rib and steak. I highly recommend visiting Angel Oak, even if you're not staying at the Ritz-Carlton.
First of all the service is excellent. Belle the hostess was friendly. Our servers Alan and Elle were really great. The ambiance of the restaurant is great and the piano music was so nice! As far as the food goes: The poached lobster was delicious. The coconut lobster bisque was good but needed a little more seasoning/spice. The truffle pasta was ok but probably wouldn't order again. My husband said his steak was cold and lacking in seasoning. The prices are high and therefore...
Enjoyed a nice meal, but it's the views and ambience that make Angel Oak great! Enjoy a sunset dinner and soak up the views. The food was good but very typical steakhouse. The service was also fair, a little slow from the kitchen. Overall a good meal but a bit overpriced. Go for the views- maybe drinks and dessert.
