Our family had a wonderful celebratory dinner here to honor my daughter's UCSB graduation! We took her here the night we moved her in to her dorm and so it was fitting to end her time at UCSB back in the same place! Thank you for being a memory we will never forget! Just excellent authentic Italian food! Service was prompt, efficient, and done with enthusiasm. Dishes were made to our own specifications, including the removal of items not allowed with meds and using substitute of butter and onion that resutred in a delicious meal of pine nut mozzarella chicken with potato pillows. This was topped off with fresh sautéed spinach, and Epiphany Syrah.

Wonderful service and very attentive staff! Wide selection of appetizers and entrees. We really enjoyed the bruschetta and frito misto. The branzino and halibut were cooked to perfection. Very generous potions and excellent value.

Food not particularly good. Here on business this week and came in for a glass of wine and food. Wine selection was decent by the glass. Food was not great. Ordered the salmon special. Fish was well undercooked and flavorless. Potatoes were few and also well undercooked. Service and atmosphere were both fine.

The only issue was picking from the menu. You could dine at Dario once a week for a year and enjoy a different dinner each time. The veal Lombardy was exceptional! Great, friendly service. Wine list offered many different options by the glass or bottle.

The dining experience was disappointing. The pizza was undercooked, overly soft, and lacked any crispiness. The beetroot risotto was bland, undercooked, and visually unappealing. The ravioli lacked flavor, and the sauce was broken due to excessive fat. I was served the wrong wine, which added to the frustration. The bruschetta was the best dish of the night, but it still felt like it was missing something to elevate it. Service was chaotic and inattentive. I had high expectations for the experience, but overall, it fell short—I wouldn't recommend it.
It was Valentine's Day so the restaurant was packed and noisy. Normally I would have liked a quieter setting but the energy added to the fun. We were seated next to the kitchen and it was interesting to watch the controlled chaos required to prepare all the food orders and get them served to the customers. The food was very tasty and the service by Loni was great. All in all a wonderful time!

I am honestly puzzled by the 3-star and above reviews. I took my Italian parents out for their anniversary dinner hoping it would be a delicious and special meal but the food had no authentic Italian flavor and was bland. We each ordered a different dish, shared, and none of us like the food. Ca' Dario's should be ashamed of charging such high prices for what they serve.

Pricey but solid. ☛Nice setting, especially love the patio! ☛Bread service is nice with olive oil, basalmic, and fresh shredded cheese. ☛Servers were not as attentive as one would expect (was not busy when we were there) with the exception of bussing staff who rocked it. ☛Plenty of free parking in lot.
