I never review restaurants but I ordered spaghetti and meatballs. The meatballs were FOR SURE previously frozen from Costco or Trader Joe's. I mean come on. You are an italian restaurant charging premium prices. We have patronized the SB location many times in the past but Won't be going back.

My "pennette al salmone e panna" was lacking flavor, overflowing w/ sauce, hardly any salmon, the pasta was tough (didn't seem homemade) and no dill flavor at all (a little fresh dill on top would've helped). We asked for additional parmesan and it came after we were almost done eating. Had to ask for water refills and dirty dishes sat on the table in our faces for a while. The maître d rushed by to ask how everything was and didn't hang around for an answer. This was a slow Sunday evening! Not what one would expect for a pricey Italian restaurant. On the plus side: the servers were friendly and the pizza was good. Not impressed, just disappointed!

I think ca Dario has a sweet spot for me and my husband because we have had many special dates here. It's amazing how inside it feels nothing like the actual location. The food is always great and the pasta is amazing! The best gnocchi I've had. I recommend for a special and yummy dinner.

For the price, go elsewhere. The staff was friendly and welcoming, but.... The aperol spritz had too much aperol. The service was slow, and it was a Sunday night. Got our extra parmesan after we had finished half of the food. Had to ask for water refills. My pennette pasta was tough (I doubt it was homemade). It came with salmon which was very sparse and was supposed to have dill in it, which I could not taste. But it was overflowing with sauce! For $26 for pasta I expected more than something I could get at Presto Pasta. The other diners in my party that ordered the pizza said it was good. So...go for the pizza or don't go at all. :(

The staff was great, very attentive. Pretty sure they got my pizza from the frozen section at Albertsons.

Had the quail and a friend had the chicken piccata. Carpaccio was well seasoned and tender. Quail was tasty and more filling than expected.Good food, atmosphere, and friendly waitstaff.A little expensive for 2 main courses, 2 glasses of wine and 1 appetizer.Plenty of seats during early dinner time 6pm on a Monday. Quiet and not much background noise. A little warm for the day. Thermostat was left above 70FRecommended since there are not a lot of good Italian places in Goleta.

I came up here from LA for the quiet beach , and dined here at Ca’Dario and it was really an enjoyment to the taste buds and the soul. Neat, friendly and yummy , all the first-class restaurants should have it has all . Just love it !

Ca'Dario Goleta is our go to dining experience in Goleta. Their food is always fresh, fast, and delicious. I'm partial to their pasta bolognese, but they have great pizzas and usually a risotto special that is fantastic! We always are greeted warmly, we have taken large parties there frequently, and we enjoy the wait staff - some of whom have been there for years. They have some of the best outdoor dining in Goleta, which is surprising, given their location.

definitely a pricey menu but food is authentic and worth the price per plate, you can get away sharing some of their pastas but other than that it's a pretty small portion.

Is it only this location where the quality of food has gone down? If your looking for good (different) Italian food and great pasta....Go elsewhere. Maybe go to the Montecito location where Dario actually oversees the restaurant. Or possibly downtown if he still frequents that one.

Food is solid, ambience is very Goleta-esq for an Italian restaurant. I do prefer their Montecito location but can't complain. They have a bottle of La Fiorta Brunello that you can pair with just about anything. Service felt a little rushed, but the wine made up for it.

Excellent service and delicious food! Every staff member was welcoming and helpful. The food was so good that we went back a second time. Pasta Bolognese and fish entrees were superb!

I really am not one to leave a poor review, but we had horrible service at Ca'Dario Goleta last week. I had purposely sought out a nice restaurant that would have a private room to host my mom's 84th birthday dinner for 8 people. She doesn't hear very well and speaks very softly due to a sickness, so I had heard Ca'Dario's private room would be a good place. I called about a month and a half beforehand, spoke with the manager, and asked him about the private room for the celebration. I asked to book it and he even took my credit card to reserve it. Last week, my 23-year-old daughter showed up first for our celebration . I'm not sure if he didn't listen to her because of her age, but when we arrived our group was seated in the entryway, right next to the bar in a very loud area. When I arrived and told him we had booked the private room, he didn't apologize, and instead he started to argue with me in front of my 84 year old parents. He said that he had taken the reservation and there was nothing in the books about reserving that room, even though I know I spoke with him about it . He was very unprofessional, not only to not have written down the reservation correctly, or even to try to adjust us to a better spot, but choosing to argue in front of my parents. To top it off, he decided to be our server, and unfortunately with a group of eight, he automatically added a 20% tip. And, he didn't even give us enough place settings and we had to flag down a busboy I will never go to this restaurant again. Being a long time Santa Barbara local, this makes me sad.

Food wasn’t that good the best part was the water.
