Outside patio. Plenty of breakfast 🥞🍳 and lunch meat and stuff. French toast.
The food was amazing!
Great food! I've been coming for over 30 years. Always leave full..
The food was not what I expected
I live in Ohio and visit family in Goleta at least twice a year and I go to the Goleta location for breakfast almost everyday while there. The food as great and the staff and service is fantastic. They actually remember me and treat me like a regular ! Love the place !
One of the best places for Cajun flare. Love their omelets. Jambalaya is the best.
Best damn chorizo I've ever had. Spicy in all the best ways, heat yes but most importantly the spices of flavor were bursting out. The server explained to me the chef who makes it is from Jalisco and it the deliciousness confirms it. They have homemade cold brew coffee too which is light vs bold but doesn't need creamer at all (in my opinion). The service is very good, not rushed at all. I say outside on the patio and loved it but luckily I was wearing a hoodie because it was a bit chilly in the air. This place must be well known on a nearby college campus because loads of college kids were dining in groups of 4 or even 7 at a table. Everyone was having a great time and even though I was sitting alone the great energy surrounding me elevated my experience. I highly endorse this place. I will copy/paste this review on Yelp too just so I can be sure this place gets the credit it has earned.
Great food and service!

Delicious Cajun and Mexican foods. Their huevos rancheros are to die for!
Vegetarian options: Loved having the option to use soyrizo instead of sausage.

Nothing about this food is Cajun. It’s terrible. I got the chicken and sausage gumbo and the roux was burnt. Don’t know where they acquired the sausage, but it was horrible. Also, maybe the people here enjoy it but people from Louisiana won’t.

Let me start with the bad, I ordered their French dip. The meat was incredibly dry, like it had been sitting awhile. Even with the aujou. It did not help, really a disappointment for me. I do think this may have been a one off. Because for the remainder of the food we had (party of four) everybody loved their food.
My wife and daughter had the breakfast dishes. They said it was delicious and they enjoyed it very much. Everything was cooked to order. The eggs were fresh. The bacon was crispy. You couldn't ask for a better dish.
My son ordered the chicken sandwich, which he said was very tasty. Crispy batter and the chicken was well seasoned.
The restaurant is in a small strip mall. Fair amount of people walking in but still felt very homely. Nice, relaxed atmosphere. Nice place to eat definitely will return. When we go to visit our daughter at UCSB? I just won't be having the french dip.
Oh yeah, the service, quick service. Nice great experience loved it.

The cafe had really good food with indoor and outdoor seating. I am just not the biggest fan of the service.
I ordered the "Shrimp and Andouille Grits". The shrimp and sausage were juicy and piping hot. It complemented the grits well.
Besides the food, I hesistate to come here again. Long waits between getting the menu and the order, waitress forgetting water, and a long time to get my CC back as well.
