Very interesting addition to the local area, not expecting Creole food in California, but welcome nonetheless! The Seafood Gumbo was full of catfish chunks, bay scallops, and a couple shrimp. It came out steaming hot and stayed that way the whole time I ate it. The cornbread was also moist and a welcome addition. They are also a breakfast place with plenty of traditional options available. Great place to get your fix without having to head to Louisiana.

First time here, but it's a favorite for my family that lives in town and I completely understand why.... it's phenomenal!!! I had the Chile Verde omelet with home fries and corn tortillas, as well as a gluten-free waffle with berries and cream. Every bite was full of flavor and love! Highly recommend

First time visit I road my 23 all the way from Orange County on a a Saturday just to try this place. I arrived at 1:47 not knowing that they close at 2:00 PM ? "Well, what do you do when the universe hands you lemons? ? You make Lemonade" ? So I took a seat at the bar and ordered a bowl of seafood gumbo. The gumbo was delicious full of catfish clams, shrimp in a great gumbo sauce over white rice it came with a big slice of very good cornbread. I'll have to come back and try one of blackened catfish dinners. Enjoy ? Tell them Smokey Fred sent you ? SmokeyFredsays ?

Food was absolutely delicious, service was not the greatest. Order a OJ and never got it. When the tab was brought to me they had barely realized. Arrived before a different couple and helped after them. Our server Angel could have done a better job attending our table as well. Would come back just not very often.
