Wonderful fish tacos with homemade tortillas. Guacamole is very fresh and tasty. A great find in Solvang. Outdoor seating was very comfortable and the staff was very accommodating.

We stumbled upon this place trying to avoid the chaos of Solvang and we were pleasantly surprised how good the food and service is! Not only do they plate it beautifully and serve you after you order at the front, but they use fresh ingredients and make their own tortillas, chips, guacamole and salsas. Bonus points for vegan section on menu.

Ordered online and the order went through without a hitch but apparently this location is closed? I was charged but when I went to pick it up, no sign of life there whatsoever. Not happy.

California Tacos And Taproom in CA hands down. I think some of the pretentious bad ratings are from people that haven't had before and have nothing to compare. No, it's not Parmesan cheese guys. And no, it's not canned corn. If you can't tell the difference then that's your fault.

I have stopped in for tacos a few times since I started travelling to a new doctor in the area. I have to say, I was not impressed and it is pricey. 4 tacos $15. I was not there for the taproom, just the tacos. I am a bit bias because there is a taco place walking distance from where i live ( El Tizon), they are cheaper and the customer service there is unmatched. Your little shop is full of young people who are nice but not on top of their game. I would't be handing out tips. The chicken in my tacos was hard and dry, I was worried that it would upset my stomach. The tortillas were rubbery and hard as well. The green sauce on the tacos, not for me, luckily it was not spicy or I would have taken them back. Probably the last time I will be getting lunch there. I will be checking out other places in the area.

Here's the thing, this place has a great atmosphere and great alcohol selection and pricing is good. The food is the saltiest food you will ever eat, I can only assume it is to sell more alcohol. I come here with a group of people at least once or twice a month, but it isn't for the food. I really wish they'd work on the food quality and the excessive salt levels, it's the only thing missing from having a perfect place. That and beer pitchers, but they at least have bit steins for a reasonable price. They have beer, kombucha, cider, and margaritas, so you will definitely have a good and boozy time.

I came here last night for a post-Winter Break reunion with my cohort. We arrived around 5pm and were the first dinner customers. Our timing was great because they were just turning on the heat lamps as the sun set, painting the sky orange and pink. The indoor/outdoor seating arrangement was perfect for sunset viewing. We turned up on a Tuesday and lo and behold the place does was Taco Tuesday's, so every taco on the menu was $1.00 off and 16oz pours of a local blonde beer were $2.00 per pint. Win! So I ordered two vegan tacos and a beer. My colleagues sampled other varieties of tacos, and the shrimp got particular praise. There are also burritos (which looked huge!) and other Cali-Mexican food options as well as desserts and nonalcoholic drinks. The place started to get a little louder as more people arrived around 7pm. Then the music got turned up too, and we felt the chill atmosphere was dissipating. But that's cool; we were on our way out and others were arriving who ostensibly wanted that kind of vibe. I'd come back for another Taco Tuesday. The vegan tacos were excellent, the salsa bar was stocked and yummy (though labels would be nice), and service was friendly. When I forgot to close my tab and walked off without my credit card, the place held onto it overnight and I retrieved it the next day from a kind employee. Good job Cali T&T.
Why these tacos on some pita bread type thing?? I got some asada tacos and they just weren't worth. They had some avocado sauce thing on it and when I saw that, I was like bruh. Why u gotta do me like that. Allow me to put whatever sauce I want on my dang taco... like u got a salsa bar, DONT DO ME LIKE THAT!!! Their salsas were pretty not good either, and the salsa bar is really important in my rating decision. If you're going to get tacos in Goleta, I GUESS Lily's is the move, but if you're really in the move for solid tacos, I'd hit Mony's or Tacos Pipeye downtown

I've been coming to Cali Tap for 2 years now and it's hand's down the best bar in Santa Barbara/ Goleta. All of the bartenders make an effort to try and get to know you and they have the best selection of craft beers in SB. It's become something like a second home for me and I feel like I'm doing my friends a solid when I recommend they go here. The atmosphere is great, they often have live music, 10/10 a great place to grab a beer or a bite to eat (I've had my fair share of Cali Burritos but this place does it right).

First time trying out this resturant and the food was really good. Overall the resturant was clean and the staff was friendly. It got a bit chilly since it's mostly outdoors but the space warmers did the job. The tacos were probably the best thing about this place. Tortillas are super delicious and taste homemade. The asada and adobada meat were both really tasty as well. They have a salsa bar and great prices on drinks. The only thing that could have been better was the rice. It was really crunchy and hard. Maybe they microwaved it or was from the bottom of the batch? It was hard and crunchy in my friends burrito as well.
