I know that some folks are intimidated by the big road construction projects in Old Town Goleta. But don't let that hold you back from visiting this wonderful "3rd Place." I know at least one thing that most folks don't know...and that is how seriously this team takes their espresso machine and equipment. I had no idea how much care goes into maintaining a machine that pulls consistent and delicious shots of my favorite elixir. Long before I wake up in the morning, someone is warming up the machine and ensuring that it is in top form for we customers. It's not unlike the crews across the street who are checking the passenger airplanes and ensuring they are safe to fly. I am making an effort to spend all of my dining and entertainment budget in Old Town as the businesses pull through these impressive but annoying road projects. You'll see me at Dean, I'm sure.

Parking: I love how friendly they are about bicycle parking.

Coffee is well balanced and not acidic. Treats often surprising, only place in town I ever found Kouign-amann... Lots of outside seating, on Sunday, local go players show up... A bit like Tokyo go places, but cheaper and has coffee if no wandering pro.
Gets some students from nearby IV, but is pretty quiet on weekdays afternoons, nice place to relax.

I was blown away! This place has great atmosphere and vibes. They've got great pastries and breakfast foods. I had a turkey bacon avocado cheese and arugula sandwich served open face on your choice of bagel. A little tough & messy to eat. However, it was beautifully presented and tasted wonderful!
I went there during lunch and the place was perfectly full of bright beautiful UCSB students. And this is no small feat, because it is a distance from campus. So the draw is very real.
I had an excellent $5.50 guava kombucha beverage.
With a tip my total meal was just over $22. Not bad.
The music was great, and I felt warmly satisfied on my departure👍

Perfect, I'll be back.

My coffee was cold but the time I reached the table. unless you don't specify, they'll give you a paper cup instead of a ceramic cup.
There are no bicycle racks. If you sit outside, you get the gas fumes from Hollister and a lot of traffic noise.

-Coffee and food 4/5: Great quality but a little pricy compared to other local coffee shops.
-Service 2/5 staff consistently making mistakes
-atmosphere 1/5 vibe is ok but sometimes I could smell the plane fuel from airport, might be hazardous!

The cappuccino milk was burned, overly aerated, and the espresso was under extracted. The images on Google are not what you should expect to receive in your cup.

I’m telling you… This place was so worth checking out! There are lots of places that have a rather templated type feel. What a hidden gem! Words cannot express how amazing this place is! The staff is beyond personable as well! Elizabeth and Gabby were so incredibly friendly, professional and extremely welcoming! It’s great to be included inside environments like these.

There are great people who know how to be of service. This place is on point!!

Definitely keep up the great work everybody! I see myself coming back here quite a bit. It’s so worth the drive! Thank you for being so awesome and amazing!

Generous and delicious open faced sandwiches. The gluten free bread is very tasty. Friendly and efficient service. Large and comfortable patio dining. Conveniently located adjacent the general aviation terminals at the Santa Barbara Airport.

Dietary restrictions: Very good gluten free wheat bread.
