Cappuccino check ✅
Great atmosphere, feels like a retro but trendy place. Coffee is amazing, matcha latte is great, just add a little bit of sugar. The service is too kind. Definitely coming back. 5/5.

This place is awesome. All the Dune's are awesome really. Can't go wrong at any of them. In my experience, this Dune has the most "interpersonal" customer service. For example, they have consistently asked about my day, etc., or made small talk that goes a bit beyond the basic kindness you'd get at any of the other Dune's. Basic kindness, as in, they are really friendly there, either way, during your transaction, but this Dune seems to do a little extra with customer interactions. The coffee (what I usually order; e.g. lattes) are excellent.

Great coffee and friendly staff. The seating can be made more comfortable. Overall great hidden gem in Goelta.

This place is great. I'm a little picky about coffee and pastries, and they get 5 stars for a perfect americano and banana nut muffin (warmed up, tastes home made). Chill and welcoming atmosphere as well.

Unfortunately, this place is really inconsistent. I love a good latte and this coffee shop actually had me start my love of lattes. But lately the lattes have not really had much microphone and just a lot of really hot extra milk. Basically, after the first few sips, I’m just drinking hot Milk with coffee in it. It’s very flat and not fat and enjoyable. I don’t have a lot of time to ask them to remake it and stay around and I’ve had this experience many times of the past couple months.

I like to try local coffee roasters when I travel. I don't do lattes or cappuccinos or any syrups--just black coffee. Dune was the first coffee stop in Goleta and boy was it a disappointment. I basically never pour out any coffee ever. I'll drink day old coffee and not care. I tried four sips of my cold brew at varrying strength (letting ice melt to see how it changed the flavor) and every sip was the worst coffee I've ever had. To be fair, none of the four places I got cold brew in Santa Barbara and Goleta were even close to good. This was the only one I poured out though. This review is only about their cold brew. I can't speak to the food or other drinks. I try to be fair and give things a second chance, but I'm doubtful I'll risk another $6 (with tax and tip) going back to Dune.
Employees are great! Very cool local place to frequent!

Overpriced and the staff member tried 'coffee snobbing' me by asking,"Have you ever had a pour-over coffee before?" when I questioned the pour-over price for their coffee in its MAYBE 8oz container. The taste of this Ethiopian blend was no where in the flavorful vicinity of Kona coffee by a longshot... Took a picture beside my sunglasses for size comparison - too small for the price, damn laughable...

This is my local coffee shop. I really appreciate their vanilla latte, not too sweet and just the right amount of froth. It can get busy in the mornings but the wait has never been more than 5-8 minutes. Excellent service.

Maybe just had a bad experience here as the other dune on Storke road was great, but this time I was given a cold stale bagel and waited about 15 minutes for a tea bag to be placed in water for almost ten dollars. Atmosphere is good, and I know this place can provide great quality, so I’m chalking it up to bad luck when I visited the day after new years.
