The food truck next to the cider place is difficult to get to because there is no real parking. The staff were friendly, and the vegan options were clearly labelled on the menu. However, as they were preparing the vegan combo plate, they suddenly asked us whether we wanted to replace a chicken dish with a potato taquito. So it was good that we specified that we were vegan rather than just relying on a dish being on the vegan menu. The dishes (had the combo and the taquitos), were unique, well prepared, and just about enough filling. The taquitos were nice and crispy, but the other dishes mostly got their flavour from the sauce (of which they provided a lot).
The taquitos are so crispy and delicious with a nice potato filling - so good! I ordered the Central American Combo from the vegan menu, but there seemed to be some confusion about what goes in the vegan version - they asked if they could swap something with chicken out for a vegan taquiito, so I’m not sure what that was about. The Combo was interesting to try, but it would be nice if there was more vegan protein involved. I brought tupperware for take away, but they said they couldn’t use it because it wouldn’t fit. Later, I stored a leftover taquito in one of the containers and it fit with plenty of room. So it was disappointing that plastic had to be wasted on my food.
I asked if there was anything vegetarian, was told a rice bean cheese burrito would work. Ok great, spent $15, take a few bites and realize it has meat in it. I’ve been sick all night as I never eat meat, terrible experience

Elubia’s Kitchen is a hidden gem in Isla Vista!
If you love Mexican food and want to try something new, you have to check this place out. Elubia’s serves amazing Salvadoran and Guatemalan dishes that are full of flavor and made with love.
I ordered the combo plate with a pupusa, garnacha, potato taquito, and a dobadita with chorizo and papa — everything was fresh, authentic, and super delicious. The hot sauces? Spicy, vibrant, and perfect.
The vibe is cozy and welcoming. We sat inside, but they also have a nice little deck for sunny days. The best part? We got to meet Elubia herself. She’s incredibly warm and kind, and shared her story of how she started this business during COVID. It’s clear she’s passionate about feeding people great food.
Highly recommend for anyone looking for something different and tasty. You can dine in or grab it to go — either way, you’re in for a treat.
Stopped in the other day, service is super friendly. Energy, owner was in the kitchen I could tell she is passionate about her place. Good vibes and energy an option for patio dinning or a small space inside. I waited a little longer than expected. It was fine. I was able to enjoy the beauty of sunny Isla Vista. The chicken burrito was pretty standard, fresh. Not as much cheese as I would like and the iceberg lettuce on the side was browning.
Overall enjoyed my food. Great stuff and a glorious menu offering authentic Guatemalan food.
Delicious Guatemalan food freshly made. Great vegan options. We like the pupusas and our son likes the tamales. The cabbage salsa and fuego salsa are delicious. The newest location in IV has some inside seating and the same great food as always. Such a sweet owner and staff.

Have enjoyed Elubia's food since its opening at SB Cider Co. and at various local events. Consistently good food and outstanding tamales. Have enjoyed watching Elubia's become a successful food truck business.

$6.50 DOLLARS FOR A PUPUSA?? Did y’all import it from El Salvador or what? Was the cow where you guys got the cheese made out of gold? Are you guys using gold spatulas? Is SpongeBob making them? And from a food truck?? Inflation is a thing but it’s not THAT BAD.
