This is an amazing local sushi spot. We celebrated my birthday and the staff was amazing, welcoming and very accommodating. The service was excellent and they were just so incredibly kind. I would highly recommend the generous cuts of sashimi and their special rolls.
I’ll start with positive. The fish on the Hamachi and salmon nigiri was fresh. Big pieces of fish. Now for the constructive feedback. Is the sushi actually made with sushi rice? Did not taste any vinegar in the rice. It tasted like just regular rice. Ordered the spicy tuna roll and shrimp Tempura roll. Would not recommend the rolls, the fish was not as fresh in the rolls as in the nigiri. Mediocre at best. In general, my review of this place would’ve been a little more generous,...
Yellowtail and albacore are fresh. Excellent choice for a pick-up—take to-go—and relax with sushi at home. They also sent us home with plenty of ginger and wasabi which I very much appreciate 😊
