Ordered the $22 burger. Requested medium rare, it was so overcooked, almost unedible. Also asked for the sauce on the side, that did not happen. My friends also asked for their sauce on the side, that did not happen either. At the prices they are charging, food should be a lot better
The food was delicious and so many great dishes to choose from. We were a party of 6 and everyone enjoyed there meal.. Are sever Julia was great!! We will definitely be back again!

We attended for Valentine's Day and had the dinner for two. The ambience is nice and the staff are really sweet. The food itself was amazing. A bit slow on the service- we were there for about two hours, which is tough on a weeknight. Our cheesecake was frozen solid but had good flavor. I'd return for the food, but I'm not sure that the V-day special was good value for money due to service and dessert.

Nice small restaurant within the Leta hotel. Food was really good and they have a great bar with some really good wine choices. We had the tempura green beans and the tri tip flatbread pizza. Both were really good.

This was my second lunch visit to Caya...DON'T go there for lunch unless you enjoy an empty dining room, one server, and long waits for your food (that remains a mystery...only one person in the kitchen or is the server preparing your meal??) Most hotel restaurants aren't busy at lunch, but this one is almost depressingly empty. The restaurant decor is lovely and bright. The food is nothing special...they serve breakfast all day and that's the best bet...I had the fresh berry crepes on my first visit and they were great. The quiche this time, not so much, and it was served with really greasy hash browns that weren't browned. Your best bet here is probably for dinner since most of the good reviews are for an evening meal.

I have eaten here several times. Perhaps because it was Christmas Day they were not staffed accordingly but what should have taken and hour tops took us almost 2 hours and food was not hot, my chicken was dry and cold. In the past the service was still slow but food was great.

We are never disappointed when we dine here. Had a yen for something on their website site that didn't appear on their menu. “Oh, that's on our BAR menu. Let me go get that for you”! That's service!
We chose to meet here for our monthly book club get together and we were very happy. The restaurant was quiet on a Monday night so I don't think our group bothered anyone. The wait staff was very attentive and engaging. We ordered several of the shared plates to pass among our group. Great selection of choices and we tried most. Particularly liked the tempura cauliflower.

The problems with this restaurant are all down to poor management. We went the day after Thanksgiving, which is often a busy Friday night in restaurants. We also had a reservation, so the restaurant should not have been surprised. Nevertheless, the management was woefully unprepared for the crowd. There were only two servers for the entire restaurant, and every table was full. I did not see into the kitchen, but I can only assume that the management decided to be cheap there, too, and not put on enough staff. Our food came out very sporadically, some of us were finished with our meals by the time the rest of the meals arrived. Some of the food was quite tasty, while the steak in the tacos was so hard and burnt it was inedible. The two servers were running around like crazy, working very hard. Still we had to go up to the bar and fill our own drinks. But the worst part of all was the noise level. It was unbearable. The room had the worst acoustics I have ever encountered in a restaurant. The din of all the voices around us booming off the walls was deafening and very unpleasant.

We were looking forward to a birthday brunch for our son. We had a nice table outside and our waiter took our order fairly quickly after we sat down. The only problem is that it took a good 25 minutes to get our food. I understand that kitchens get backed up, but it felt like the managers and wait staff were ignoring us. They did not make eye contact, or just stop by and acknowledge it was taking a while for the food to come out. Sometimes all it takes is for a server to stop by, fill your water, and let their table know what is happening. There were two managers around who would have been doing that for their staff. It's too bad this happened, it's a wonderful hotel, and we will most definitely stay there again, but we won't be dining with them.
Casual but nice dining experience. Friendly servers and the food was good. The band was fun to listen to, the first set perfect volume, the second was getting loud but we were ready to go then. AWould recommend to anyone and will go back.

Really tasty food. The rolls were fresh and different. The CAYA salad was very good and the swordfish special over squid ink pasta with tomatoes was perfectly spiced. It was Sunday night and early, so a bit quiet. Very pleasant.

Atmosphere in this place is fantastic! The night we were there we got to listen to a wonderful jazz band. However, some of the food was not good. We ordered sliders (which were good) and tacos (which were hands down some of the worst tacos I've ever had). Service was also an issue. While our server was extremely helpful, she forgot about us for about 45 minutes, and we had to find her to get our bill. Caya has so much potential, but it needs better quality food and more attentive service. Don't think I'll be going back anytime soon.

The food was awful. I ordered a tagliatelle which was mostly brussels sprouts with some noodles tasting like lemon. Uneatable. My daughter ordered a plate of beef and chicken, both impossible to eat. Silverware was also inappropriate to eat beef. Service was messy too. Waiter kept a repeating she was too busy with a large table. A wasted evening.

Service was not good I sat for 10 minutes waiting for a server to come over and ended up having to ask where the server was. Ambiance is great and the hotel is insanely cute. Didn't have a great experience at the restaurant but will maybe give it another chance in the future.
