Wow! Bad food. Bad service. Kind of gross! Cannot imagine how it survives.

Hana is an Isla Vista staple! Their chicken and beef bowls are a go-to of mine. They make eating healthy convenient for the entire day if you opt for the regular or super sized bowls. Their selection of sides is awesome too, I always get green onions and sometimes the creamy orange sauce. Hana has a peaceful outside dining area where you can enjoy your meal with friends, although I normally take it home just because my friends dislike dining in public. The service is in my opinion impeccable, always polite and respectful, and the waiting time is only as long as it is busy. If you’re looking for nutrition, look no further and visit Hana Kitchen!

You’re paying $18 for some spicy mayo and rice, Just grab a bottle for yourself at a grocery store for like $5

Ordered dinner online for my family for the 1st time (IV location). Arrived home missing an entire dish. No apology when I returned to get my missing meal. That's the reason for my service rating.

Food is decent, staff wasn’t too friendly though. They also don’t accept cash which is quite annoying and overall just a stupid business decision. Really hope more places don’t start doing this.

Honestly, would be a great place if they didn't run out of everything 3 hours before closing.

The beef bowl is good, but it sucks to have gotten food that was obviously made for somebody that ordered it before me two times in a row. Sure, it’s a waste of food to not serve it to the next person that ordered the same thing, but it sucks to get get cold food that has been sitting there that was made for someone else. I’m in the area quite often, and was hoping that this place could be my go to spot to refuel

DESERVES ZERO STARS. Probably one of the worst spots in IV Everytime I go there's a problem and then the 'boss' is there tonight when I go to pickup food and after waiting 25 minutes for a mini chicken bowl that was UnderCooked and Raw, I get a "I'm sorry, have a free drink" from the person in charge who went outside to smoke a cigarette while people waited extra long for their food. This shows how much the owner cares about the customers. This place has no vibe and has gone to trash unfortunately. Hopefully the leadership can learn to do better

This is probably my favorite place to eat at in Santa Barbara/Goleta. I always go here because I’m in love with their beef bowls! It’s soooo good! It’s even healthy because it comes with a bunch of vegetables! My favorite part is their boba. I always get the mango slush with boba pearls, and I get them to make my slush without any tea, just water. The last time I went here, the guy seemed like he didn’t care about his job at all. He was in a bad mood lol. Anyways, the inside is sorta dirty. The wait is long if you don’t place an order online beforehand. Sometimes its really busy. I definitely recommend it cuz I love their beef bowls and boba! I will keep coming back!
Parking: Parking is hard to find if there are a lot of students around. I always park in a spot where I’m not supposed to but I don’t stay for long.

How to imrove:- make chicken less dry (Adding sauce helps)- I want cut vegetable medley, not thinly cut lettuce- Switch to thicker sauce (current teriyaki sauce runs too easily and pools at bottom of bowl)- make the rice stickierPrice is a 5/5 for the local area :)
Got the spicy chicken bowl since it's supposed to be chicken breast, at least that's how the Downtown SB location serves it. It was chicken leg meat like the regular chicken bowl, and it was cold. It's just upsetting to pay more for something and not get

Visited this evening at 8 pm. The hours say that the location is open until 12 am. I ordered a regular beef bowl/plate to go. The cashier served my food with the container opened. No bag. No napkins or fork. No sauce. I couldn’t order a drink because they had all the machines turned off. The guy at the counter was being short and huffed and puffed when I asked for a bag and some sauce. He never asked me if I was eating there so not sure why he just assumed. I was there with another person who didn’t get food so not sure how he assumed that we were there to dine-in. The entire experience was weird. The food was cold. Just weird. Weird weird weird. I actually like Hana Kitchen so this experience just didn’t do it for me.
