Thai tea has no tea (taste like milk water)
Passion fruit green tea is 40% seeds and without the seeds it taste like the smell of urine
I've come here with my gf 3 times and each time we are disappointed. The reviews make this place seem decent but it's always too sweet or watered down. Would not recommend to any kind of tastebuds
It's a pretty good place. They have various choices of bubble tea. The taste is authentic.
this boba place is pretty good overall, with a solid range of flavors that aren’t overly sweet, which is nice. the prices are also pretty reasonable for the area, which is a plus since boba can get expensive around here.
one thing that threw me off, though, was their strawberry matcha. i was expecting something blended or a bit more balanced, but it ended up being just matcha tea with chunks of strawberry jello. the flavors didn’t really mix the way i’d hoped, so it felt a bit odd.
otherwise, the tapioca pearls are on the smaller side, but they give you a lot of them, so you still get that chewy texture throughout the drink without it being overwhelming. all in all, it’s a decent spot to grab some boba if you’re in the area and looking for something affordable.

Came today for the first time. Thai tea was about the best I’ve had, however the boba wasn’t fresh. Customer service was great. The place itself looked pretty messy/dirty behind the counter. Ritz cracker boxes and a slot machine toy thing lol whattt Hopefully they can improve, I’ll give another try, hopefully boba is fresh next time.

Wow! Hochaya makes delicious drinks. I got the beach tea which came loaded with fresh fruit. You can decide how much sugar and ice you want in your drink.

Tea - great! Tablet for ordering..... takes 20 seconds to register each option. Brings me back to 1999. No option to order at the counter - please fix the tablets.

One of the girls at the front is very rude. I asked for water and she rolled her eyes, said "Ughhh", placed the cup on the counter and walked away. I was only asking because I am a dasher doing deliveries on my bike and forgot my water bottle today. It wasn't even busy and I am a usual customer. Not anymore!

Best boba in SB! A regular spot for stopping in and using DoorDash. Heads up: there's not really a way to enjoy your drink onsite, so be prepared to take everything here to go.

My favorite thai tea in the Santa Barbara area. I can get it not too sweet (30%), which I can make at home but the flavor is better here and the boba is deliciousy chewy. Only wish they opened sooner to avoid the nighttime caffeine high.

Simple to order kiosks available with many adjustable options. Great spot if you are looking for something refreshing.
I ordered the Osmanthus Oolong Latte. It was creamy and sweet even at 30% sweetness. Wait didn't take long either (about 5 minutes).

This tea store has excellent authentic products. I find the menu to be very similar to what I would have found in Taiwan. I think that it is definitely worth it.My personal favorites include the sesame foam and the sea salt foam with black tea. They only sell brown sugar boba after 4:00 p.m.They also have non-dairy milk tea for those who are lactose intolerant. If you're paying with a credit card there are touch screen registers. The registers are extremely slow and lag quite a bit so the line can be slow moving. You can talk to an employee if you have any questions or are paying in cash. You can order online through multiple online ordering services that you can find on their website so your order can be ready when you arrive. It's always a bit warm inside with only a few tables so it's not the best area for indoor seating especially since they use most of the store for storage. I believe the taste of their products more than make up for the lack of ambiance. There is ample outdoor seating and Wi-Fi available.

Arrived here with a friend, we ordered two drinks and they came quickly and they were delicious. However, the store was really empty and I’m assuming due to Covid. They were using some of the booths in the back to hold their boxes of storage however, it definitely detracts from the overall appearance and atmosphere. But the drinks and the service was great.
Vegetarian options: The entire menu is vegetarian as there are no animal meets with in tea with Boba. However, if you were vegetarian for eco-conscious reasons, the packaging is plastic.
Dietary restrictions: The entire menu is vegetarian, however, dairy or vegan restrictions would require a Tea base drink instead of milk tea. Gluten is probably OK I’m not entirely sure if Boba is gluten-free but drinks without tapioca would be fine
