I was in the greater Santa Barbara area for 6 days and found this place tucked in a neighborhood just off the 101 in Goleta. We enjoyed several breakfasts here and never had a bad dish. They're open for lunch and dinner too with a mix of traditional american diner dishes as well as some mexi-cali dishes. They'll also deliver your food to the bar at the end of the strip mall. They have some tables out front on the patio and a nice sized dining room inside. Glad we found it, as it saved us a bunch on money over the resort food prices where we were staying.

Was in the Goleta area for a family getaway and we got takeout for breakfast and dinner from Home Plate Grill. In both cases our order was ready on time and the staff was friendly. For breakfast we had pancakes, sausage, scrambled eggs, and biscuits and gravy. The pancakes were the star of the show as it tasted like that added a dash of cinnamon to them. For dinner one night we got their pizza. I was surprised because it was a really good NY style thin crust pizza. When we are back in the area again, we will definitely order from Home Plate Grill again.

Ready for a great breakfast? You’re in for a treat. The chilaquiles are the best I’ve ever had! They know what eggs over medium means, generous portions. Good coffee and fantastic prices! All their salsas and sauces are wonderful!
