Wonderful and delicious! We came by earlier today, I had Huevos Rancheros with Asada for the first time ever and my partner had Chilaquiles. It was totally tastyyyy! (They did accidentally pit my Asada on his plate instead tho lol its ok). Glad I got to experience it on my visit, thanks so much for having us.

HANDS DOWN; the best Mexican restaurant in all of SB county! Growing up in a Mexican household and having the best homemade Mexican food is amazing so when I moved; I always thought I wasn’t going to find anywhere close to my mom’s food. And I found the place! Everything is made fresh and you can tell how much care is put into their food. The owners are so down to earth and the sweetest. I always leave with a smile on my face every single time I come in. I recommend their 3 item plate platter since they have so much to offer and it’s all so delicious.

It was so gross no flavor at all very plain worst dining place ever honestly it smells nasty also it’s behind a Landry mat. The bathroom is behind the kitchen and the kitchen is so small

I asked for a Supreme burrito with no beans. In return? I got a burrito with just rice and chicken. I asked for pork as my meat option. Apparently, removing beans removes the cheese, lettuce, and guacamole. Horrible method of taking orders. The lady taking orders just yelled it back to the chef who apparently can't hear. Terrible surprise. Never coming here again.

AUTHENTIC. LOCAL. REAL MEXICAN food. Don’t get caught up looking for a cute place when you get some real authentic food - that’s the experience within itself!!

I accidentally left my purse hanging on my chair when I walked out. The incredibly nice person who works at La Guerrerita tracked me down at the laundromat next door to return it!! So nice! Above and beyond!

We are from Hawaii and my wife was ono for Mexican food. She always seems to choose the small business type restaurants. This place was great!!! Food was tasty service was very good. Would highly recommend this place.

What made this experience was not only the food, it was the fresh made tortillas. I had the huevos and chorizo, my wife had the mojo de ajo shrimp and sons had burritos.

If you need a place that serves up good Mexican I highly suggest.

Service was okay but they don't take your order at your table and you have to grab your own menus near the register. The atmosphere was also a bit unclean. There was no music so it was a bit akward and the table we sat at had left overs from other people and didn't get cleaned up even when we got our plates. Also when we went there was only canned sodas. The food was okay but nothing worth going back for really.

Parking: It's easier to park here than other food places both times i've gone the parking has been available.

I ordered the chili Relleno along with a green chicken enchilada combination with rice and beans. A couple of Modelo Cerveza topped it off. Their fire roasted green salsa is amazing and brings some heat which I found delightful. I absolutely recommend this eatery for anyone who enjoys authentic Mexican food!

I hate leaving negative reviews for small businesses, but people need to know.

I've been placing an identical order at Taquerias all over California for the last 25 years. This place is really awful.
When I asked the lady why half of the ingredients are missing she got super mean about it. It's a $15 dollar burrito, at least get the basics right. This place does not deserve your business.

Also, there's no excuse for an empty restaurant to be this filthy.

Taquerias are some of my favorite places to visit. This place was filthy, rude, and seems like they may not have enough basic ingredients to make anything half way decent. The reason for all this is because nobody here cares about anything.

There's plenty to read about the fine food at La Guerrenita. I want to point out their covered patio and bicycle friendliness. If you access Old Town by bicycle (which is the best way if you use a bike.) It's easy to pull up and lean your bike against a planter and then dine outside. This would be a memorable stop for any cycling tourists headed North or South along the Pacific Cycling Route. With the new #ProjectConnect, the days of Hollister as a bikable, walkable, more welcoming space are ON. Watch out, Funk Zone. The more affordable Funk Zone is rising. :)
