Food and service were excellent! They were extremely short handed today (Saturday) and our waitress was waiting on the whole restaurant. She was amazing! Food was also really good! Recommend this place 9/10!

Expensive, small portions, and not tasty. That sums it up! Waste of money.

There's a lot to unpack here. The Nugget in Goleta is like Harry's younger brother. It's an institution packed with history, with a nice patio. Let's talk about that chicken parmesean. Do you like pasta sauce with extra garlic and fresh tasting oregano? Get the chiky parm and I highly recommend the mashed potatoes as one of the sides. and the combo of those potaotes with that pasta sauce is amore

Drea was the best server we've had at any restaurant in many years. It was our first time dining and we had a few questions. Drea had excellent recommendations/suggestions. I was torn between a couple dishes and she recommended putting the chicken over pasta instead of 2 sides. She asked if we wanted more sauce, to go drink containers, and more. She had the BEST suggestions. The place was as you'd expect - comfort food, license plates adorn the walls, etc. Food was good. Drea was excellent!

Ordered 3 shrimp and fries dinners to go. Was told to pay cash only. No credit cards for to go orders. Went into the restaurant and paid cash for the meals. It was $71.00. Paid with 4 20 dollar bills. Kept waiting for my change back so I could leave a tip as I had no other cash on me. Finally got someone's attention. Was told they assumed the balance was the tip for picking up my own food from them. Was made to feel quilty about waiting around for my own change. Decided to just leave and let the whole thing go. Fine - keep the change, then! Got home & one of the dinners was missing the fries as well as the extra tarter sauce we had ordered and paid for. You are so welcome for taking my change as your tip! I would say that with sarcasm but I would probably be charged for that and made to pay another tip for it as well!!!!!

This is a classic place to eat in either Santa Barbara or Summerland. It has been around for years and it's still a great place to grab lunch or dinner if you're looking for a great hamburger, sandwich or soup and salad. It has a hole in the wall charm and is very popular with the locals, so if you're planning on eating here, make sure you give yourself time to enjoy it.
