There's a lot to unpack here. The Nugget in Goleta is like Harry's younger brother. It's an institution packed with history, with a nice patio. Let's talk about that chicken parmesean. Do you like pasta sauce with extra garlic and fresh tasting oregano? Get the chiky parm and I highly recommend the mashed potatoes as one of the sides. and the combo of those potaotes with that pasta sauce is amore
Drea was the best server we've had at any restaurant in many years. It was our first time dining and we had a few questions. Drea had excellent recommendations/suggestions. I was torn between a couple dishes and she recommended putting the chicken over pasta instead of 2 sides. She asked if we wanted more sauce, to go drink containers, and more. She had the BEST suggestions. The place was as you'd expect - comfort food, license plates adorn the walls, etc. Food was good....
This is a classic place to eat in either Santa Barbara or Summerland. It has been around for years and it's still a great place to grab lunch or dinner if you're looking for a great hamburger, sandwich or soup and salad. It has a hole in the wall charm and is very popular with the locals, so if you're planning on eating here, make sure you give yourself time to enjoy it.
