We were caught in a storm while traveling through the area. Pleasantly surprised to find the Natural Cafe, my family and I wanyed To grab a bite to eat while we waited for the weather to improve. It was 10:40 am, a few staff members were sitting at tables. The restaurant opens at 11am and we asked if we could step inside to get out of the torrential rain pour. We were not allowed in.

I wish they had clearer symbols on their written menu designating vegan items. But when I asked at the register while ordering, they did have a menu next to the register (at the Goleta Marketplace location) with all the non-vegan items crossed out. Turns out there's lots of options with some slight alterations. I ordered the veggie tofu bowl, which is fully vegan as-is, and it was delicious! A good serving of grilled tofu, delicious brown rice, fresh veggies, and a super yummy sauce. Would give 4 stars instead of 3 if there were more purely vegan meals (no alterations needed).

The Natural Café is one of my favorite spots for a healthy, delicious lunch in Goleta/Santa Barbara. I love their tuna fish sandwich and vegetable lasagna. Both are fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. You can sit inside or enjoy the outdoor seating, which is perfect on a beautiful day. Great food, relaxed atmosphere, and a wonderful place to stop for lunch. Highly recommend!
good food but I learned long ago not to tip ...the service has disappointed time and time again, driving all the way from Montecito only to drive home and have someone else's order
