Hubby and I stopped here on a road trip, ordered 1 of each pupusa flavor (6 total) and absolutely inhaled them in 10 minutes flat. Piping hot, lightly flaky crust giving way to delightful chewiness just underneath, and oh the flavor of the inner fillings! The hot sauce selection and tangy coleslaw were great toppings too.
Will go out of our way to eat here again. It is a humble, cute, and clean spot with amazing affordable food. Spot the fun joke in the bathroom!

This spot is right off the freeway, and its a delicious local burger and pupusa joint. recommend: Double bacon burger 100% Cheese, jalapeno, and bean pupusas 100% Mango hot wings and fries 100% Strawberry, chocolate, and mint shakes 100%

Dont like all these fastfood chains and was intrigued by the good reviews of this small independent place. Never had a papusa, but is was very tasty, especially with the relish. Milkshakes were also excellent.

Stopped here on thanksgiving evening on our way to morro bay. It was like finding a hidden gem. Simple but Nice comfy place to eat with family. It’s run by family and the young guy at cashier was so very helpful and friendly.
Had no clue what a pupusa was, so they explained it and being an adventurous vegetarian I ordered and it was AMAZING!! It also came with a kind of coleslaw which was also tasty.
Veggie Burrito was Not on the menu but their beans are not made in any meat stock so they customized burrito for us with rice and beans and veggies. Whenever I come back
Used to pit stop here when it was Burger Queen. Now it's a delicious pupuseria (El Salvadorian)(sp?), simple breakfast place and burger stop. I'm trying the El salvadorian breakfast next time. Fried banana, eggs, protein, and either polenta or beans. My memory isn't clear upon recollecting my conversation with the kind young man. Feels like a family run place. Fresh. Punctual. Kind every time. Funny corn cob art piece in the bathroom. Got the three pack pupusas. Bean and cheese Pork chiccarone and cheese And jalapeno w cheese. I could drink the moderately hot sauce and next time I might kindly request extra picked veg, not because i feel the portions were small bull because it was delicious.. The other option is a vegetable I'm not familiar with. I had it and it was a nice yummy veggie option. Making this a pit stop and getting the fried banana next time for sure.

Right off the freeway in Gonzalez, we tried the papusas here for the first time. They are freshly made by hand so be prepared to wait about 15 minutes. We had 3 for $15. They were good! Would stop here again.

Delicious pupusas! We ordered a variety (cheese with pork, cheese with beans, cheese with loroco) and they were crispy on the outside, went perfectly with the curtido (slaw). Perfect stop for our drive from San Francisco to Santa Barbara.

We ordered 9 pupusas total 6 mix and 3 bean n cheese. When we got our order the bean n cheese look mix and we even asked the lady if they were bean n cheese and she said yes just that she makes her pupusas out of peruvian beans. The pupusas were so good thin fresh made. Also the menudo was to go for next day and is is super super good with that oil chilli. I for sure will drive 5hrs to eat here again.
