This place is so cute on the outside! But the bartender was insufferable and super unfriendly when we walked in! He never said, “can I help you? What yall drinking?” All he said was, “ya ever been in a bar before?”

Seriously bro! We just hiked our bootys off and we’re looking for the bottle beer options. If you are unhappy and hate your life no need to treat others like that!

You’re a bartender, your job is to create a welcoming atmosphere, to sell booze, and have a good time. That guy needs a vacation and a different job.

Went to the cheesy wine bar down the street and it was welcoming and warm. Get a grip knotty pine bartender bro.

I have a place in town and try to frequent local establishments, but I just can’t with this one anymore. Really bad drinks, really bad service. The worst is Kandy Foard. I believe she’s the owner. Has this horrific entitled attitude. Like tell me what you want let me throw it in front of you, and then leave me alone. I can’t anymore. She’s not always there, but enough is enough. There are better places in town that don’t make you feel like you’re a second class citizen if you don’t live full time there. She wouldn’t even have a bar if it weren’t for people who don’t live here full-time. What a horrible woman.

Truly incredible local bar with a great gin and tonic. If you you are awarded the privilege of entering this establishment, be sure to look for local legend, Garlic Greg! Meeting him was the highlight of our trip to the Knotty Pine. Thanks for a great night in town!

Friends and I stopped by a few times for a quick beer. Everyone was friendly. Not a huge beer selection on tap but still not terrible. If you are in that area or just passing through I'd recommend a quick one here.

Great little bar in a great little town. Stop in for a drink for 3 and a round or two of pool.

This place is awesome, full bar, friendly staff, a pool table, a jukebox, where locals and visitors have a great time 🍻🍷🍸

My breakfast was terrible. I ordered a special which was paltry. It was a scramble so small it seemed Ike it was made with 1 egg. A 1 egg scramble! . I asked for crispy hash browns, they were virtually uncooked. I asked for un buttered toast (1 slice) and it was buttered. My children placed orders, one of their orders was not as described. No one followed up on our meals. After not receiving what was expected and having no one care well, That was the straw that broke the camels back. Our order came to close to $60 for 3 of us. Not counting 3.5% for using credit card and tip. I’ve eaten here many times but in recent years it sucks. I won’t eat there again with current management. The woman who runs the place was indifferent to my issues and acted as if the problem was mine. Bad food with bad service.

Nice local in Gray Eagle. Great spot to stop after a day at Lakes Basin, or Johnsonville. The bartender Christie was great.
