“Drove 2 hours to get here and it was 100% worth it. I’m from OC and had heard about this place for a while finally tried it today.
Honestly, the best beef shawarma I’ve ever had, better than any spot in LA.
The falafel is also amazing.
Definitely coming back.

“Two serious complaints about Mizlala. One is that they need to move into my part of the SF Valley ASAP. The second is their crazy parking lot.
But one thing is for certain. This place serves outstanding Middle Eastern cuisine. Far better than anything I've had anywhere. Wonderful flavors, spices and herbs. Succulent chicken Pargiyot, Taste bomb Moroccan fried chicken. Sumac fries to die for. Salads bursting with feta, Kalamata olives, beets, radishes and tomatoes. Perfectly nuanced sauces and dressings. A delight for the senses.
Their staff is friendly and very helpful.
Now just move closer and make me really happy.“

“Zankou Chicken in the Valley is absolutely fantastic! I had the beef kebab and it was amazing. Meet was tender, juicy, and packed with flavor. The garlic sauce was addictive, and the portions were generous. The service was quick and friendly, and the food came out fresh. Definitely a must-visit spot for Mediterranean lovers!“

“Food is great as usual but special shout out to the workers who go above and beyond for customers. Marisol was super kind by coming over several times to check on us and just help in any way she could. Leandro was very patient and offered my toddler stickers which was very kind. Jackie also came over to our table and engaged with us kindly. I asked for all of their names because you don’t get that type of customer service at most establishments much less other zankou locations.“
