The ambiance on the back patio is really nice. The best thing was the artichoke dip appetizer. I have eaten here multiple times and the food can be hit or miss. On this particular evening, the mushroom pasta was handmade and fresh, but a bit light on the sauce. The endive salad was a complete disappointment: $17 for 6 leaves of endive, with 1/8 of a teaspoon of blue cheese crumbles. More consistency and quality in the future menu offerings would be nice.

Unfortunately I only had time for a quick bite but I will absolutely be returning.
The endive salad was perfection, the service was excellent and the ambiance is lovely.
Can’t wait to return!

We dine at Farmhaus weekly and their food and service is absolutely top notch. Having lived in San Francisco for 30 years, we have a lot of great restaurants as a barometer, and the food at Farmhaus is every bit as good as the best food in San Francisco. The staff (including the owner Madeline) are gracious and accommodating. We are so lucky to have Farmhaus in our neighborhood!

I've loved this place for a long time. My favorite was Sunday brunch, and I don't know why it went away. I'm just down the street and so happy for local fine dining. This is the second time I've dined for dinner, and here are my critiques. We started with the fondue. It left something to be desired in flavor. The box fondue you get from Trader Joe's has a lot more flavor. This was pretty bland. The roasted cauliflower was a highlight with the fondue. For mains we had 3 tri tip dinners and one risotto. The biggest critique is that it was an hour between ordering and the main service. Everyone at the table was aware of that. When served, the tri tip portions were felt to be small. Especially for a relatively inexpensive cut of beef. All of the three who ordered it were still hungry, even after the hearty cheese appetizer for four (which we ate entirely, even though it left some flavor to be desired). I've often marveled at how they can do service in the size kitchen they have, and maybe the answer is they can't, considering how long the wait was for main entree. The indoor dining room is quite loud. And I wish they had a full bar. All is to say, for close to $100 a person, and that with only two people drinking alcohol, it leaves something to be desired. I really want to see more because I love the local spot, so take this please as a constructive critique!

Not the best choice for a Mother's Day brunch. Service was slow even though they seemed well staffed. Food was slow and the included scones had run out when we arrived for our 12:30 pm reservation. Sausage & Beef burger (special) was served raw (not rare, raw). Was better when it came back, but it was still unremarkable. Lobster and grits were good but not great.

Our server was very friendly and understanding and comped one of our mimosa rounds to make up for it. For all the hype I'd heard about Farmhaus, I was honestly disappointed. At least the setting was nice. Very tranquil considering it's right off Folsom Auburn Road.

We’ve lived in Granite Bay for almost 10 years and our 2 favorite local restaurants have always been FarmHaus and Hawks. Unfortunately, we recently visited FarmHaus and have to say we are truly disappointed. Everything we ordered changed in quality and presentation. Thought there may have been a change in ownership, which I asked about, but server told me no. There was a change in the Chef but that was 3 years ago, so not sure what happened. But, they’ve raised prices and the food just didn’t hit the mark. I guess we need to find another farm-to-table experience that still serves high end food / atmosphere/ presentation because we more than likely won’t be going back. And before you say anything, it was every dish that didn’t meet previous standards, not just one or two from the table. Good bye FarmHaus.
