We’ve lived in Granite Bay for almost 10 years and our 2 favorite local restaurants have always been FarmHaus and Hawks. Unfortunately, we recently visited FarmHaus and have to say we are truly disappointed. Everything we ordered changed in quality and presentation. Thought there may have been a change in ownership, which I asked about, but server told me no. There was a change in the Chef but that was 3 years ago, so not sure what happened. But, they’ve raised prices and the food just didn’t hit the mark. I guess we need to find another farm-to-table experience that still serves high end food / atmosphere/ presentation because we more than likely won’t be going back. And before you say anything, it was every dish that didn’t meet previous standards, not just one or two from the table. Good bye FarmHaus.

➕1⭐️ for having ? dog friendly outdoor shaded patio seating to enjoy a late August Friday lunch with temperatures in the 70’s. Immediate seating for a party of four plus two small dogs. Food and service were good. Their garden proves fresh ingredients.

We were a big party of 16 so they gave us the back room which is private and spacious with its own restroom. Felt like we were in a Spanish villa. Food and service are amazing. Will keep going back. This time we went in summer so it was too hot to sit outside, but I really like their courtyard on a cooler day.

We hosted our reception here and everything was amazing. The food, the service, the event room (in the back house). We couldn't have asked for anything more. Big thanks to Haylie and the rest of the Farmhaus staff for all the help making this event special for us. Couldn't recommend it more to anyone that's looking to host a smaller event.

We dined there this weekend. We were very disappointed. The portions were ridiculously small, especially considering the pricing. We ordered the gnocchi (came out lukewarm) and the pasta bolognese and could not believe how small the portions were for $28! We ordered two mixed green salads to split between the four of us. The expo came out and said "here is your split salad" with two VERY small portions of salad on two plates. We assumed that was one green salad split in half and the other was on its way. Our waiter rushed over and said "no, that is two whole salads to be divided amongst all four of you". When I pointed out the man across from us eating an appropriate sized mixed green salad he said that the chef actually got in trouble for making a salad that big. When I used the restroom, as I walked by the kitchen, there was a lot of back and forth banter between servers and chefs all seeming disgruntled. Maybe it was an off night, but the food was average, and we literally had to eat when we got home.
We had a great lunch here today, service and food were excellent. Cool spot, we will definitely be back

Small and intimate environment with tasty small plates. I ordered the artichoke dip which was amazing and they provided veggies for me to dip, since I do not eat bread.I would definitely return to sample an entree.

I work here so I'm a little biased, but I have worked at other restaurants and I have never had such satisfying meals before. The way we cook our food here and the things we do to it, dumbfounds me. Who knew you could get such amazing and strong flavors from stuff so simple.Also this place has a burger that will change your life. It kind of ruined hamburgers for me, now that I can't find a better one anywhere or anything comparable.
