Feedback from two elders from NYC in their 80's along with me. Good vibe. Sat outside on a chilly late October evening with great foliage. Friendly crew. We wanted to love the food. Meatballs and "gravy" were great. Entrees were edible, but just not all that flavorful.

I can’t hear for the first time and they were nice however it took over 45 minutes just to put in our order and they were just giving out the wrong orders to the tables so we ended up leaving without eating and paid $24 just for bread and butter, Diet Coke and beerso don’t recommend it

The restaurant interior is industrial, modern, and a bit of glam. Nice and classy place, the service was on top of it and we didn’t feel rushed or forgotten about. The pace was perfect. We got meatballs for an app, and my wife got lasagna and I got a pizza with hot honey, all three dishes were really tasty. We finished off dinner with a tiramisu… wonderful! Everything was just wonderful. We’ll be back soon!

For perspective, we eat out a lot ranging from Chipotle to Hawks and everything in between. I’m leaving an honest review to help other diners and (hopefully) improve this restaurant. This place has great reviews so we were excited to try it. The waitress, who was very motivated and nice (albeit a bit over solicitous) started by saying the namesake means “7” in Italian and that they only have seven entrees so that they can offer the freshest ingredients. We got the Sette salad, lasagne and two drinks. The salad was above average but unfortunately the lasagne was below average (seemed day old, was there even ricotta in the pasta?) and the house Chianti was on the verge of turning. As such, what was billed as super fresh was just the opposite. We hope Sette takes this feedback constructively and tries to improve.

Liked the contemporary decor. Our waitress Casey was great and sooo nice. All the girls working there were darling. The house made noodles were delicious, especially the lasagna. Also one of the better Caesar salads we have had. All in all a nice addition to the Roseville area. We will be back.

I have eaten here twice now. Both the food and service have been consistently top notch both times! The pasta is fresh and you can taste the difference. The little things count…so when you bite into the bruschetta and the toast of the bread is perfect… well you know someone is paying attention. That’s important when you’re deciding where to spend your time and money. Pomodoro is simple yet elevated. Add the meatballs and you won’t be disappointed. My boyfriend had the ravioli and the sauce was unexpected and very flavorful. Great wine, great ambience. Highly recommend.

Absolutely fantastic dinner at Sette Pasta House (which also is offering lunch now!). Our 10y/o son demolished his Detroit style pizza (made on their incredible focaccia dough, with the perfect crisp and soft yield to it), he opted for the cup pepperoni (real pizza lovers know!!) with feta, jalapeños, and hot honey.

We all shared the Sette Salad, which has an incredible herby, basil and garlic dressing that I could probably drink, if given the chance. Also delicious was their classic Caesar salad, which anyone who loves a really good Caesar will happily devour. We also had the chance to try their bread board, which comes with three delicious dips (the garlic Parmesan - omg, but all three were so yummy) and their freshly baked and beautifully constructed focaccia blocks.

For dinner my husband and I shared the lasagna - the chef put 18 years into perfecting his bolognese, and you can really taste every second of love and dedication that went into that sauce. The house made ricotta and freshly made in-house pasta combine with that bolognese to just the perfect balance of flavors, the umami crushed tomatoes, the perfect combination of meats, and the silky pasta…. Instantly crave worthy.

We also shared the filet mignon, which was perfectly cooked and so tender. They sous vide their meat after giving it a little marinade and you can taste the perfection and the craft in their preparation. It comes on a bed of delicious mushroom risotto, with perfectly grilled asparagus. We finished our plates to the point you would think our dogs had gotten at them, they were so shiny and clean.

We finished the meal with excellent gelato, salted caramel and cookies and cream. I ordered with the intention of just having a bite, but nope, wiped that bowl clean as well.

It’s so hard to find authentic homemade pasta and elevated Italian in this area and I could not more highly recommend Sette as a wonderful place for a truly memorable meal. We’ll be back!

This place is a great addition to Granite Bay dining. I would give it 5 stars just to have more restaurants here, but there are some opportunities for improvement. Food and service were excellent. The portions were small though, especially for the price. I left hungry, which is not often the case in American dining. Especially Italian food where pasta and other carbs are usually in abundance. And that was with having desert. The bruschetta was a very small amount. They should double that. The ravioli was also a small plate. The spaghetti looked like a reasonable amount. They didn't offer bread. I've never heard that of an Italian restaurant. I need something to soak up the delicious sauces with and that is a cheap way so people don't feel hungry when they leave. I also wish they had more variety on the menu. I might come again as the food was very good, but I hope they hear some of these suggestions. With the present menu options and price point, I am much more likely to frequent Vaianno Trattoria just down the road.
