A little above decent overall. Not a fan of the batter used on the appetizers. Some things are just better when simpler. Less heavy batter is better. Just my 2 cents. Beer and wings were good

Admittedly, we haven’t been to this establishment for some time, due to the dog problem, but we were very surprised that they had changed their fries. Used to be the best fries we have ever tasted, but last night they served a basket of small shoestring fries. Nothing at all like the ones they used to have. Likely, won’t be back.

Arrived at Grass Valley in the late night and this place was still open. Good to try the local brewery. They offer pizzas out of a wood fired oven. I tried Asian wraps and they were great.

1849 Brewery has great beer, a great family atmosphere, and awesome live bands every weekend! A staple in the Grass Valley area and has been over the several years. Definitely a must visit. As a Latino I have read some reviews and do not agree with what has been said. I have nothing but wonderful experiences from staff and even the owner. For people to lie and say this place has racist staff is very disheartening. Farthest thing from the truth, I have brought many Latino/Asian/African American friends by over the years and it’s always a great time.
Kid-friendliness: Family environment and kid friendly, just don’t give your kids alcohol and you won’t be asked to leave hahaha

Still be working on the kitchen the racist person. Yesterday he was looking to all foreing tourists of the table with bad faces and trying to push us out. If you are not citizen of the US dont recommend to go to this brewing!!!.
