The old a&w was better,this place has went downhill and the root beer sucks,it tastes like cream soda.not good,to expensive,I won't miss it.

At first, we were disappointed that A&W Family Restaurant had left this location, but we were extremely pleased with the service and food. Especially our extra large, old fashioned Root Beer Floats.
First visit of what I can easily say of many future visits. The bacon jam burger was amazing. The ham sandwich was HUGE and delicious. Looking forward to my next visit. A bit on the pricey side, but isn't everything these days?

It's been awhile since I've been to Big A's and now I remember why. First thing your prices are ridiculous! $25 for a tiny sandwich and a melted root beer float! The employee charged me extra for a chicken patty! I wanted to substitute the hamburger patty and no ham slice you want me to believe chicken costs more than hamburger and ham???? Just ridiculous and NOT worth $25. I can get a full meal at a restaurant for half the price. Not giving away my money anymore for bad quality food?

Good tasting food as I remember, especially the gourmet burgers and the rootbeer float, but today I found the grossly excessive pricing and greasy / dirty condition of the restaurant was enough to turn us away. Almost $60 for a couple burgers, one fries, one rings, and one rootbeer float? Actually, no thanks; cancel my order. Byeeee!

The food use to be sp much better. I ordered a chef salad and they put soooooo much deli meat and cheese. There was barely any lettuce. The onion rings were full of oil and tasted like fish. The only thing that was good was the rootbeer. :( I use to love this place but the quality is low.

Great food - very rich. These folks don't mess around with the calories and quality! My husband had the double burger - the meat patties looked handmade. His sweet potato fries were good but average. I had the Texas BBQ Chicken Salad. Very tasty! He had a vanilla shake and I had a root beer freeze - both very good. We sat outside and enjoyed our meal. The person that took our order was very friendly and competent, and also served our meal quickly and efficiently.
Parking: We are pulling a trailer so parked up the hill in the parking area right past the restaurant. Plenty of space. Would not have been possible for us to park in the actual drive in parking lot, but the adjacent lot makes it very easy.
Expected home made root beer as advertised on the menu, instead got flat A&W from a 2L bottle. That's enough to never come back. Baffled this place has such a high review.
My girlfriend and I have been here before and had a decent meal. But not this time, and we won't return again! Our burgers overcooked, dry, and burnt, except for the runny coleslaw on the burger which made the bottom bun fall apart as soon as you picked it up! We got two different kinds of burgers on this occasion. The onion rings were so burnt, stuck together, and completely unedible! They need to change the oil in their fryer, they tasted old and were dark brown and nasty! The service was extremely slow, though they weren't that busy. I never even got the french fries that I ordered first! I paid over $65.00 for two people to eat, but we ended up throwing most of it away because it was completely unedible! We are both so disappointed that will never return to eat here!

Employees here were very nice. It was a good way to take my grandma out to eat who can't get around to walk inside many places, made it very easy. There are many options on the menu. Prices not too bad either.
