A friend sent me a bottle of the bloody mary mix from the restaurant as she lives in Grass Valley. I mixed a the bottle with tomato juice and a Colorado vodka and took it to a tailgate before the CU game everyone loved it. I will be buying more for myself and for Christmas gifts.

We ordered grape and brie risotto, stuffed polenta, and pasta strides with cheese. All three dishes were exceptional and the services was amazing.
Such a big disappointment! First off I called the Restaurant and spoke to a really nice lady, I let her know that I have a couple from Monterey coming in for a birthday dinner. They are also Restaurant owners and we're looking forward to it. I asked if if she could send over a birthday dessert for her? She said of course, well that didn't happen! I asked how the dinner was and they told me it was horrible. The salmon was so dry she couldn't eat it, the shrimp Louie her husband had the shrimps were not cooked ! He left it. What a bummer! and too forget the birthday dessert after I was told it would be there for her, was so embarrassing! Worse birthday ever!
Since many aspects of the restaurant business have changed, Cirino's has scaled its menu considerably. I met a friend before a comedy show at the nearby Art Center so an early dinner was at 6:30. It only took a few minutes to be seated, and I ordered a glass of house Sauvignon Blanc while looking over the simplified menu. I wanted a Pasta dish as I figured Italian, go for Pasta. I selected the Shrimp and Lobster Fetticuinne Alfredo, and as I ordered I asked the server, 'Is this a traditional Italian recipe or the American version with 'cream'? She said it had cream in it, and I said I'd order anyway. A note about a true Alfredo. It's an Italian dish that is served with Parmesan cheese and Butter, NO CREAM. I should have asked they only use half the cream as normal as when the dish arrived the pasta was swimming in sauce, which I understand is an American love. The problem with the dish, however, wasn't too much cream; the Lobster and Shrimp were indistinct from each other, indistinguishable, and overcooked. I think the shrimp must have been what in the trade are 'tiny' (61-70 per pound) or 'small' (51-60's) as I couldn't make them out from the small chunks of Lobster. It would have been nice to see a shrimp as in a medium or larger shrimp. The dish was presented well, but the flavors of lobster and shrimp were just not dominant as one may have expected. I liked it well enough and wouldn't order it again without some 'modification' to my order as in less cream and maybe a larger shrimp. My friend had ordered one of many Risotto dishes and was ok with his meal, but again it looked like the whole dish was underwhelming in appearance and seemed overcooked.
Had pasta dish here, it was shrimp and lobster. The food was ok. Service was ok. Would not recommend if you want real Italian food.
My first dinner at Cirinos was a treat for the palette. The food was delicious and I can't wait to go back! The atmosphere was quaint, comfortable and I was part of a larger group (6 of us) so we were seated in the dining room next to a window looking out to the street. I ordered the Lamb Abruzzco (not sure about the spelling) but the sauce was to die for! I would definately order this again. I hope to go back soon and highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for a good Italian dinner!
The product along with recipes for wings and shrimp cocktail sauce are superiorPlus the customer service from this company is among the best I’ve ever experiencedAn order included a hand written thank youTheir packaging is excellent
The best Eggplant Parmigiano and Bloody Mary I've ever had. Excellent food and service, great atmosphere and location. Can't wait to go back.
Brought a group of 31 people here for lunch. They were great. Very friendly, very helpful, very professional. Good service, good food, good restaurant facility, very affordable. Everybody enjoyed and had a good time. There was no problem with the large group, they could handle it quite well.
we needed a place that could take a large group following a memorial service earlier in the day. Cirinos was perfect. They were accommodating on a Saturday night and more importantly the food and service was top notch! We all needed a little comfort food that night and that's what we got. Everyone enjoyed the food and kind service. Thank you Cirinos!

Amazing food, drinks and service
the calimari was outstanding. the clam chowder and ministroni were amazing. lasagna was layer upon layer of heaven.
The world has changed quite a bit over the years. However, today I had the Famous Cirino Burger with Gorgonzola and it was EVERYTHING I remember when I last had it at their Downieville location so many years ago. The burger was flavorful and JUICY! My husband had his favorite, Maltese Lamb with Farfalle pasta. It also is delightful and never disappoints. Great wine list. Service was wonderful! I was glad to see a great full restaurant for Sunday Lunch! Support our local restaurants- they have been through a lot in the last couple of years.
Gotta admit their online menu is what got our attention. The descriptions of the dishes were amazing and we just had to try the food. It was totally worth the nearly hour wait. The pork was divine, I had it with the orange sauce. Oh my goodness! So good! Then they brought out the dessert tray. Wow! We shared the chocolate peanut butter cheesecake. I think it was the best I've ever had. If I'm ever in Grass Valley again I'll definitely be eating here.
great food, great service, friendly smiling staff!
