Had a great time here. Beer didn’t knock my socks off or get me taking crowlers home but was very drinkable. Food is damn good. We had the elk bratwurst and it was even better than expected: unique meat but not “gamey” at all. Waffle fries were very crispy. Their ranch is really, really good.Service is very good. Not sure if they do it every day but they had live music during the daytime and the dude was dropping the jams. Good times all around.

Great local brewery. Good brews, great space, good food, and great people!

Food and beer fantastic! The FORKS are currently undermining the delicious cuisine the kitchen is delivering.Holding them feels just as likely to cut my finger as deliver the noms to my mouth.Great spot! Obviously forks not even close to a dealbreaker, just a rounding out improvement towards 5 stars!

Love Grass Valley Brewing company. Have been about three times now and each visit is consistently amazing. The bartenders are great, the beer is phenomenal and the food is to die for. So far my partner and I have tried the burger and the fried chicken sandwich. Both are crafted so well and full of flavor. All around amazing atmosphere and definitely recommended. They also offer growlers to go which I used as a Christmas gift for a friend.

You can eat and drink and meet all the trendy people in town, all at the same place!

We came for a few amazing beers and ended up eating here too! We were shocked to find out the kitchen had only been opened two days prior. The food was great! The man who took our order was very kind and patient with us. We got the garden salad, fried chicken sandwich and the patty melt. All were very tasty and did not disappoint. The fries were extra crispy too. We always enjoy the laid back vibe at GVBC. We will be back soon!

I brought my friends here after a glowing review on the way. I used to love this place but I’m not sure what happened. My friends and I ordered food and beers but they were all underwhelming. The burger I ordered was over cooked and crunched when I bit into it. The fries were hard (not crispy) and the wings were average at best. When I closed my tab, the bartender seemed annoyed and tossed the pen and check on the bar before walking away. It could’ve just been a bad day but we were fairly dissatisfied.

This location is kind of split into two, the bar side is mostly just a lot of open space, but you can sit at the bar and the servers are friendly. The warehouse side is really where it's at, it's decorated and really lovely to sit with the doors open for a breeze with live music to heighten your night. There is no table service, they have a cafeteria like set up, you have to go to a window in the bar side to order and pay, and then they'll bring the food to you. Same with drinks, you'll have to order at the bar and bring it back yourself. Though it's a bit odd, the food and drinks are good -- the fries were large enough to share with three people, and the salad was huge!Seems like a nice place to wind down with friends after work, but wish they had an easier service system.

I was lucky enough to be here for the inaugural "taco Tuesday " ! They offered carne asada and carnitas tacos...I enjoyed the carne asada, paired with a great IPA...

Great beer! Also appreciate the generous wine pours. Service is decent, though if you order food, you have to pick it up yourself (be ready for that). One big minus point in the ambience arena is that it's really loud - but if that's okay with you, then this is a good place to have a drink or a meal.

This review is for 4 trips over a week during a stay in the area.Better food, and better beer than other options. Kitchen is consistently wonderful, and at its worst, good.Compared to the other local brewery, more care is put into the offerings, both food and brew.We had the Toasties the first time, delightful house made bread with heirloom tomatoes and balsamic with other ingredients that made the appetizer both with tasty and filling.Second trip we had the caprese salad, unconventionally presented but delicious and fresh with both peaches and heirlooms. It works. Well.Third trip we had the hummus plate, which, at $12, will fill the bellies of two seniors when beer is added. Lots of veggies and the right amount of dip, slightly spicy. The pita was spot on and warm.Fourth, we had both the Thai salad and the bratwurst sandwich with sweet potato fries. The Thai salad didn’t pop - not enough flavor to carry it. The bratwurst sandwich was really good (a tasty pretzel bun with relish, kraut and brown mustard) but the sweet potato waffle fries spent about a minute too long in the fryer. They were still tasty, and we ate them all.Great staff, nice space, nothing but excellent service, nothing but friendly and welcoming. Remembered us the second time in.Highly recommended from two food and beer snobs. After long days of hiking, we didn’t consider any other options for refreshment.

So I didn't get many pics except my grandson demolishing TWO cheese quesadillas, but we all had an excellent time, had three beers each, plus delicious food! I started with the key lime sour, which was wild, but my next two beers were the Grateful Haze. Magical. My caprese salad was a delight, except the grilled chicken, which was dry. My daughter's cheeseburger was a glorious juicy feast, and I was a bit envious lol. The fries were crisp outside, creamy inside, and the dips were yummy. Can't wait to go back.
