We went in for a cocktail at the bar and some tapas. Both drinks were not mixed correctly, one of which was doctored up adequately upon our request. The other was not drinkable (since when does a whisky sour taste like lemon juice?) The atmosphere was rather industrial. Fortunately, a more experienced bartender came on duty and prepared a good drink. On a positive note, the sliders were excellent as was the beet salad. Both were presented beautifully and prepared perfectly....
Tonight was my first time visiting Enrique's Lounge and I could not have been more impressed. I received the best service I have received anywhere--the staff were attentive, friendly, funny, and I felt like I was at home. It was open mic night and the entertainment was great, but there was also a back dining room that was far enough away from the action that I could read my book but never felt forgotten. Easy to miss this great eatery at the end of town at night, but the food and selection were fabulous! The spicy chicken wing appetizers were meaty, with a great spicy sesame sauce. We also had the tempura asparagus with a great aioli dipping sauce and their special potstickers. I'd recommend all of them. Plenty to share.
