What a fantastic afternoon we had at Bob's. If you like good wine and want to meet someone with a passion for wine? Then definitely go to this winery! Bob is awesome!! And the wines, which are definitely the best in Europe and compete with the best in Italy. Whatever wine you taste, it's all balanced and delicious. You can taste the craftsmanship and passion for wine. We brought some bottles for our road trip! Thank you Bob for your great hospitality and sharing your stories with us. We loved it!

Tried the Old Vine Zinfandel and enjoyed it very much. Smooth rich flavors. The history of the vines made it even better!

Very impressed with our first visit to this winery. Wines are limited production and very well made...we really liked every one we sampled. Lisa's handmade pottery was an unexpected treat. I am excited to get back to sample their new wines as they become available as well as to pick up more of Lisa's beautifully crafted and unique pieces.

We had so much fun at Mountain Ranch winery this evening. Show tunes by black ice theater group that came from Tahoe to make this socially distanced evening spectacular. Wonderfully talented folks! The owners of mountain ranch winery, Bob & Lisa are so cordial & inviting. It feels like you’ve entered their home and immediately I felt as if I was their best friend. The wines are fabulous. My favorite is “Icarus” YUMMMM. And.....as a little bonus, that you wouldn’t expect, Lisa has a display of her beautiful & unique pottery for sale. I have to say, I am now the proud owner of a couple her pieces. This kind of event is one of the reasons I love living in Nevada county, or “Heaven” California, as I call it. Visiting Bob & Lisa, and the amazing space they’ve created for us, is a MUST!!!
