We got the vegan burritos. It was the best burrito I’ve ever had. The food was fresh.

High quality whole food ingredients and home made food for mind, body, and soul. I’ve seen her press fresh squeezed orange juice for the smoothies! Owner is the sweetest, food and coffee is the best (try the hibiscus tacos!)

The food was outstanding and so was the Service! I really recommend the chicken fajitas with corn tortillas and deep fried jalapeños.

This was our first time here, it will not be our last. What a great lunch we just had! Amazing, hearty, authentic, fresh food. Great service too! The nicest woman took our order, prepared all the food and ran the entire place. Can’t wait to return and try something else on the menu!

Lovely. I wish all restaurants were exactly this size and had exactly this atmosphere.

I've been twice now and the food is outstanding. First time I had the ground beef enchilada plate and it was enough for two people! A nice fresh salad and the best refried beans I have found in the area. I love how the woman working there was doing her thing and being part of that quiet revolution. I wonder if this is a woman owned business. If she's doing her own marketing I'm sure she'll let me know!

Rico’s Taqueria is a hidden gem in Nevada City, located in a charming, tiny old house. We had two amazing carnitas burritos, which were packed with flavor and perfectly complemented by their green salsa. The lady at the counter was incredibly nice, adding a personal touch to the whole experience. Highly recommend if you’re in the area and looking for authentic, delicious Mexican food!

Dietary restrictions: Very traditional Hispanic food, and not super healthy but very tasty

Parking: Plenty of space

Kid-friendliness: There is space for strollers inside and outside sitting where a kid could play

Wheelchair accessibility: It is tricky as you need to go up some uneven surfaces

What a gem...this quaint taqueria has amazing food. 3 of us visited, ordering 3 different items and it was all delicious! This place will be a regular for us when we have a craving for anything "south of the border."

This place is ridiculously good. By far the best breakfast burritos in town. This is a new location and it's a little hard to find at first but it's insane that there are not more people in here. It's the best.
