Nice venue, friendly people. Good wines
The sparkling peach mango wine is killer and I need to get back up there and get some more. I’m almost out.
We accidentally crashed the wine club fall party, but they let us come in. They were serving 4 wines and paired each one with a small bite. We had not been here for many years but they are pouring very well. There location in downtown Grass Valley is the perfect spot for a small town Christmas feel. It feels like you're in a Hallmark Christmas movie.
We love Anne and Phil. They have the most delicious wine. Being Wine club members is so worth it.

Everything, especially the wine, was wonderful until I asked to use the restroom and was told they had no public restroom??? Stunned me speechless as I had long drive ahead .

Had a lovely wine tasting at Sierra Starr, the experience was quite fun and was everything we would want from a tasting.The location is in the heart of downtown Grass Valley and the storefront is very welcoming. The shop has a wonderfully ornate carved wooden door, and the interior has a rustic brick and wood vibe. There is not a lot of seating inside, but there were only a few people there when we stopped in, so it was quite and uncrowded.The woman working was very nice; she greeted us promptly and we picked a seat. She offered us menus and walked us through what wines they had available. She was very attentive and checked in regularly, offering suggestions or answering questions we had.We tried a selection of their wines, all of which were enjoyable. Ended up leaving with a couple of bottles, and then were able to wander downtown and check out the shops. Ultimately, even I you only vaguely like wine, Sierra Starr likely has at least one wine you would enjoy!
Great wine in a great location. Stopped in on a whim and ended up buying a few bottles. The staff was really helpful and nice. The wine was complex yet very drinkable for anyone
