Worst place, I ordered a giant quesadilla. They didn’t put cheese in it. There was only meat and tortilla, and I called to let them know and they called me a liar and said they were standing right there when they made it… which clearly isn’t true. I was just letting them know there was no cheese, I would’ve offered to bring it in except before I could say anything a man got on the phone and called me a liar. Do not eat here.
If I wanted to feel like a burden, I’d go to the DMV.
The girl at the register was so glued to her phone, I wasn’t sure if I was ordering lunch or interrupting her scrolling. We stood there while she scrolled, sighed, and finally acknowledged us like we were interrupting her very important business of doing absolutely nothing.
Reading some of the other reviews, this disregard for basic customer service seems to be like a pattern. I was especially surprised at one of the owner's previous responses: defensive, dismissive, and weirdly snarky.
The food? Fine. The service? Indifferent at best, openly contemptuous at worst. If you enjoy begging for attention and being treated like a problem, this place has you covered. And based on the owner's response: it’s the kind of treatment that makes you question why you’re giving them your money at all.
We enjoy eating here, the food is very authentic. Never a problem finding a place to park.
I had to jump on this review to say this place has the BEST TACOS I have ever had in my life. My husband and I were in Grass Valley to pick something up and we wanted some lunch. There have been very few mexican restaurants that we have been blown away by. This place not only blew us away but also left us with a desire to drive an hour and 45 min away just to experience their tacos again. Amazing homemade corn tortillas with Chicken that just melted in your mouth. The staff was super kind and made sure we happy. Now we are making plans to drive that distance in the next month just for their tacos. SERIOUSLY!!!!!!
Our group of 8 got their food amazingly fast. Shrimp rancheros and steak fajitas were awesome.
We’ve eaten here before and not had a problem but today we placed an order at 11:40 and the time estimate was 15 minutes. We received a text saying pickup was at 12:13 and when we arrived to pick up the food we were told it would be ready at 12:35. At 1:00 our to go order was ready, an hour and twenty minutes after we placed it. People were talking in to order, eating, and leaving in the time that we waited. No apology, no explanation was offered.
When I called and explained the situation to the woman who answered the phone she said ‘and…’ like I was inconveniencing her. No apology, no explanation. I responded with ‘you don’t think that’s a problem’ to which she said the order wasn’t coming through on doordash. But someone was standing there who could have easily cancelled the order and placed it there or simply had the order cancelled and leave. I asked if I could speak to a manager and she told me he was busy and to call back later. I asked for her name since she was the one I had spoken to. She refused to tell me her name and hung up on me. When I called again and asked to speak to a manager and know her name she hung up on me again.
I know things happen and there is grace for things taking time but for there to be no communication while having someone stand there waiting 45 additional minutes for food that they’ve already paid for is crazy. She was so rude on the phone, so unprofessional, and so unapologetic. If the issue was with doordash then just say you’re sorry it’s going to be longer and offer the customer a chance to cancel their order.
It was shocking how rude they were about inconveniencing a customer who had no easy option to cancel their order and refusing to give your name to the person speaks to self awareness that you are in the wrong.

Great staff. They accidentally gave us only one enchilada (we ordered 3) but when they discovered their mistake they let us have all 4. Thank you!
