The Sweet Spot is a small bakery located next to Papa Murphy's Pizza in the McKnight Shopping center which houses Target, SPD, and Sporting Goods, to name a few. This bakery has wonderful little tidbits of cakes and treats and they sure could use your business. I first became acquainted with this business before she had a storefront. I believe I found her through Facebook. She made custom cupcakes for my daughter's birthday. I was excited to see her new store and try more of her baking. My daughter and I popped in and each got cupcakes and we also picked up cookies for the boys (hub and son). The cupcakes were fresh and delicious. The service was friendly and fast. I can't wait to try more goodies soon!

Absolutely love the sweet spot! I was so happy to see a new bakery in Grass Valley. The staff are very friendly & helpful, especially if it's your first time going in. The actual bakery is super clean & is cutely decorated with a photo backdrop painted on the wall. Most importantly, their baked goods are delicious! We tried multiple different cookies and were not disappointed. The red velvet Oreo & caramel pretzel cookies were our favorite! The cookies are moist with a little bit of crunch on the outside & the flavors all go together really well! Next time we will have to try some cupcakes because those also looked really good! We will be repeat customers & you should try it out to help support a great local business:)

Cupcakes are way overpriced for the size.Yes, it is pretty and frosting is nice but the cake in the cupcake is not enough. You're basically paying for a giant heap of frosting. There isn't enough cake to support it. It needs to have a bigger foundation to support the frosting.

I loved the look of the frosting and gold drip with my natural wild flower decorations. She offered fleixble accomodations that helped relieve my anxiety with planning a wedding. Highly recommend.
