Tofanelli's Gold Country Bistro

Very nice restaurant with good quality dinner food. Their list of egg Benedict’s is super long and great variety. The cinnamon was not as good as I would expect and in fact was dry and burn in areas. Service was great and we were treated super well. Overall, nice place for a bite when in town.

A Grass Valley gem. There was a wait on a Wed. lunch but space at the bar, so it's all good. Momma had breakfast. I had the bar special, and my husband had fish n chips. All good, plus whoever works the fryer knows we like extra crispy.

Parking: Parking in GV is the actual SHITS. IF
you see a place within range of your destination, grab it, strap on your hiking boots, and bless your guardian angel.

Really good food, very crowded on weekends. Reservations help. Only drawback is the lack of parking in Grass Valley.

We had a very enjoyable lunch at a very busy time of day. Service was efficient, and the food was plentiful and very tasty. Grass Valley is a good place to stop and enjoy both the downtown tourist area and this specific restaurant. I would recommend a mid day meal here.

I got the wild burger medium rare with fries and a bloody Mary. Ranks near the top of the best burgers I've eaten in my life. There's quite a few miles on my clock so that statement counts for something. If you get the bloody Mary you won't need a side salad!

I've been going to Tofanelli's for years. The food is dependable if not exciting, the service is friendly if not sophisticated (please don't call senior customers "girls" or "dears"), and the prices are manageable. What wins, though, is their truly lovely patio. It's a real patio, not just fenced off highway or sidewalk. It's pretty, it's spacious. It brings me back time and again for casual patio meals... I've had brunch, lunch, and dinner over the years. I'm always happy i went. It can get busy, so expect a wait at peak times if you don't have a reservation. And there's parking at the back, too!

We celebrated our 30th anniversary at Tofanelli's. We sat out back in the patio (so the dog could join us) and had a great time listening to live music while enjoying great food.
