I am a born and raised native to Nevada County and I’m sad to say that it wasn’t until I was an adult that I finally had the chance to try Tuscany Gardens. If I’m being honest, I never knew they existed. It’s now one of my go to restaurants that I frequent. They have the most delicious dishes. My favorites are the pesto chicken grilled sandwich, the sun-dried tomato pesto chicken sandwich, love love love their breadsticks! I could almost eat just those as my meal they are so delicious and always fresh out of the oven. Another favorite of mine is their mushroom soup! It is so flavorful and if I know they have it I’ll make a special trip just for that?.Roxy is the owner/manager and has the best energy. She’s always smiling and making friendly conversation.I also love that they have salads to grab. This is huge for me because I eat my lunch in my car on the go and need something quick/healthy/filling.Definitely recommend giving them a try if you have not yet!

A cold, rainy evening turned into an absolute delight, thanks to their super-helpful servers. They made us feel welcome and helped us choose wisely. Their descriptions and recommendations were spot on! The food was fresh, delicious, and attractively presented. Truly good value, as well. I will definitely go back again - and recommend it to friends. Easy parking in the rain was a welcome extra.

First visit on neighbors recommendation. Unfortunately will not be going back. Service was less than friendly...no check ins. LONG time for food and the veal was raw.

We are fairly regular customers here and this has never happened before.Came in on a Wednesday evening. Ordered pesto chicken ravioli and chicken alfredo. Were served beef ravioli and Alfredo with no chicken. The waitress noticed the chicken and immediately went back to the kitchen, ignoring us before we were finished telling her what had happened. We called the waitress back to tell her no on the chicken. When we told the waitress about the ravioli she loudly denied it and said it was the pesto ravioli. When she came back she said the cook was a “retard” and made the beef ravioli. When we got what we actually ordered the chicken was undercooked. We had not eaten anything. We went to leave, explaining to the waitress that we hadn’t eaten anything and didn’t want any of it. The waitress insisted that we had to pay and when we told her no she screamed at the top of her lungs for someone named Alex that we weren’t gonna pay. He came out and asked us what was going on while the waitress rudely interjected that she told us that we hadn’t been patient with the food. When we told him what had happened he asked us to not come back.

We may have arrived at a bad time but the food prep was excruciatingly slow. We waited 40 mins after we were seated for our meals. However, I will say once the food arrived everyone was happy with their order. The pizzas were great! My wife's salad, not bad either and my daughters spaghetti was also pretty good.Overall we all ended up happy. There was solid traffic both in the restaurant and to go orders while we were there, one large order I believe was the cause of the backed up kitchen.Parking: Plenty of parking especially for dinner as all of the other businesses were closed by the time we arrived.Kid-friendliness: They have a kid menu and it has all the expected things to keep most kids happy.

I ordered spaghetti & meatballs to go from the menu on the website, listed for $15.95. My husband picked it up and was charged $27 and change. When we called to report it, she tried to defend her position with ridiculous arguments. Very bad customer service and customer relations!

The family that runs this business is very friendly. They've been in business a long time, and this weekend was my first time visiting them after living here for 15 years. I had heard the food was mediocre which is why I had not tried it sooner, and that was my experience. I ordered a pizza, spaghetti, and bruschetta. It seems that the pizza was over salted and the pasta sauce and bruschetta over garlicky in an attempt to add flavor where flavor was lacking. The food wasn't terrible but it wasn't but it wasn't great. It seems with some minor changes in ingredients, they could really take it to the next level. Since they've been opened as long as they have, they must have a loyal customer following. But after my initial dining experience, it's not a place I would go out of my way to return to.
